I've considered doing it (still haven't ruled it out), three girls I know including my best friend did; how weird my best friend has a biological child out there somewhere.There are ads for it in Time Out every week and you can look up the centers on a search engine.------------------I never try anything, I just do it... tastyt Posted March 26 Author Report Share Posted March 26 I don't remember the exact details... they had to make multiple trips to the clinic first for screening, then to obtain hormones which they had to inject (the hormones are to ensure ovulation of many eggs, about 30 or 50 I think). They gained some weight from the hormones and their boobs got substantially larger... I can't remember how the eggs were extracted, but there were no incisions made. Don't remember the exact recovery period, but they just felt crampy afterwards, not for too long.All in all, they said it was quite an ordeal, but they didn't regret it or anything.------------------I never try anything, I just do it... Because they extract so many eggs, that's like 3-4 years worth of ovulation.So unless you're not on the pill (since you don't ovulate when you're on the pill) AND don't plan on having kids until you're in your late 30's/ 40's... then there shouldn't be any problems.------------------I never try anything, I just do it...
