Sweet Spot is the brainchild of Renowned DJ-producer Palash Ahmed. The idea behind the venue is a simple, sexy and modern design that's combined with a highly calibrated, state of the art Fulcrum sound-system, that turns every inch of the venue into an audio Sweet Spot.

This Saturday, join hosts Shiloh "SiNERGY" and the Euro Junkies for a very special event for Swἐἐt Spot Saturdays with music by Steve Di Pietro, Rez-E and Chris (..."Zenbi") Porter

$5 Rail drinks and $7 Patron Reposado Margaritas until 12am

$5 Kamikaze shots ALL night

1140 19th ST NW, Washington DC

Steve Di Pietro

Steve started out his music career in the early 90's spinning trendy house music at local nightclubs and house parties. Growing bored of the confined environment and wanting to expand his boundaries, Steve took a long break from music and became accustomed to the opposite side of the DJ booth, traveling between New York, Vegas and Miami every year. He was enjoying the different types of music he was hearing and forming many new ideas of the type of music he has been looking for throughout his break.....wanting to release his passion for music, Steve's interest began to peak once again and he began spinning vinyl in the privacy of his own home.... Now Steve holds a residency at Washington DC'S hottest nightclub Lima.

Rez-E

Funky, crazy & energetic. These are only but a few words used to describe a dance floor during a set by Rez-E. Born in America with Iranian blood flowing through his veins, Rez-E has always been obsessed with dance music since he was a kid. He began DJing parties at the age of 14 and producing since he was 18. As years have passed he’s began to make quite a name for himself by opening for artists such as Wale, Jason Derulo, Wolfgang Gartner & Dieselboy. He’s also played in a number of clubs in the DC area including Lima, Midtown, Current, Eyebar & Club 24. In May 2010 Rez-E graduated from JMU with degrees in Justice Studies, Spanish, and Music Industry. After gaining his newfound knowledge as well as experience from college, Rez-E is ready to take on the industry one mix at a time

Chris ("Zenbi") Porter

The sound of Zenbi (japanese for the good, the beautiful) originated in the mid 90's in Philadelphia - heavily influenced by Porter's strong musical background (Bass/Guitar/Drums) and the music culture pioneered by local legends Josh Wink and King Britt. Zenbi has performed in Philadephia, LA, Mexico, and most recently to a rave review at DC's own Midtown's Penthouse Party - spinning a blend of uber-dance-friendly tech and tribal house.
