a1wave
Hey peeps, what are the best cds for these guys (besides live sets only found online somewhere)?Seb Fontaine has a a nunber of "Prototype" Cds, up to #4. Any of these good? Thanks for the info!
shadygroovedc
Dave Seaman's Global Underground 16 (Cape Town) is pretty good. I also have his latest Renaissance Desire which is also pretty good.Never could really get into Seb Fontaine, but the tracks on Prototype 4 looks like he's trying to go Digweed on us, so it looks promising.Nick Warren's last two Global Undergrounds (Amsterdam and I think Budapest, can't remember the numbers) were ok. Good track selection, but my man Nick can't hold his mixes for shite, even when he's programming it with a computer. If I wanted to spend $100 on CD's, I'd get all 5. If I didn't, I'd get Dave Seaman Renaissance, then Cape Town, Seb Fontaine's Prototype 4, Nick Warren's Budapest, then Amsterdam. In that order... kramadas
I also rate Dave Seaman's Buenos Aires very highly.------------------"I would believe only in a god who could dance."Nietzche

seavilknevil
dave seaman's buenos aries is awesome...disc 2 is some of the best mixed trance put on cd. his renaissance mix is pretty good, but just doesn't flow well enuf for me.i also bought nick warrens latest mix cd...amesterdam, and while there were some decent tunes on it, the mixing sucked (mainly bc he DOESN'T use a computer like most pro djs do) however i really love warren's productions, with jody, as way out west. and don't know much on seb.anyway cd's i'd buy:seaman GU 12 Buenos Ariesseaman GU 16 Cape Townseaman Renaissance Desirenick warren GU 18 Amsterdam
