I went to Speed last weekend but it was terrible. Can somebody help? By the way, I like white and latino crowd. kitty19 Posted June 2 Report Share Posted June 2 jeez. i haven't hit a hip-hop club in ages- i've been taken over by progressive house/trance and Chicago house. nonetheless, Soundfactory on Fridays has hip-hop downstairs.. Mostly party hip-hop songs, you won't hear anything too hard. i would also look for ted the dillenger. he is a good hip hop dj (soundfactory, exit, nv, ohm, you name it). you should find a pretty good looking, mixed crowd whenever he is around. also, check out clubs that are more midtown-uptown; kit kat, copa, etc.tunnel in the basement used to have a damn good hip hop playing on fri/sat nights, and on sunday funkmaster flex used to be up in there (but he ain't no more). eek. good luck. oh, and the roots have like jam sessions weekly at i believe wetlands. they are so fuckin good- mad cheap too! like $5.laters!------------------*kitty19**turn it around baby* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

andro Posted June 6 Report Share Posted June 6 you should definitely check cheetah thursdays. the "groove girl lounge" downstairs brings together nyc's trendy crowd for the phattest hip hop, r&b, and reggae. better yet, the dj's are the city's top female dj's blowin up the one's and two's. you and your friends can mention andro's list at the door for reduced admission and join us for open bar from 10-11pm. you won't regret it...------------------ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
