Just out of curiousity why did you choose that name. I'm not knocking it at all. It's nice, but I'm just curiousBTW- I'm referring to your screen name------------------"Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss >and ends with a >tear."[This message has been edited by mariah (edited 02-25-2001).]
mr.sick
Richie Hawtin is one of the greatest techno DJ's in the world. He also produces his own tracks and owns Plus 8 Records. His most popular track is probably "Minus Orange", but I recommend you download some of his live sets to get a more accurate feel. His style is predominately hard and minimal Detroit techno, but he's also spins some funky house too. His technical wizardry behind the decks is simply mindblowing. Only a handful of DJ's are on the same level as him. He is a master of reading and working the crowd. He'll bang out sick tracks using three turntables and when you think you had enough he'll mix in the 909 and turn your brain into mush.If you like techno, Hawtin will definitely blow you away. If you not really into techno you should check him out anyway. I know people who only listened to trance and house, but after hearing Hawtin spin became instant converts. So check him out. It'll definitely be worth it.------------------ [This message has been edited by mr.sick (edited 02-25-2001).]
