domenickcapello
Well i went to BWM of Manhattan and i bought my first bmw a month and a half ago and i love it, its a 330ci, the perfect car. well besides that it is the second version lol of my first bmw. sort of a dilemma when i bought the car , the transmission was busted the day i drove it out of the showroom, had a slip in the high rpm range of first gear, didnt notice it till i drove it on the hwy because of all the traffic in manhattan and the fact that the place was closing when i drove it out, i had to bring it back the next day.. well i brought it in bright and early the next day and they said to me after 2 hrs, "SIR WE HAVE LOCATED THE PROBLEM AND WE WILL HAVE THE PART IN TOMORROW", so i was like , excuse me i paid 45K for this car YESTERDAY ,i want a new one, NOW. so push comes to shove, my family let the president of the company knww that we were going to choke him and i drove a new car out about 7 hrs later. But as for my new car i love it. how has ur luck been with bmw dealerships or the car in general.??[This message has been edited by domenickcapello (edited 06-19-2001).]

nycchic24
Three years ago, my mom bought a 1998 BMW 328i, and the transmission went after 2 years... they fixed it, but they didnt do a good job cuz she had to bring it back in like 6mos later. Its was leaking! and everytime she called to inquire how much longer, they could never give her a straight answer... but this is a dealership in Mass... SHe still loves her car though
