crobra
Does anyone know where I can get a little mixing table - not for professional DJing, just for my own pleasure. ------------------I put forth a generall inclination of all mankind, a perpetuall and restless desire of power after power, that ceaseth only in death. crobra
I am interested in learning how to mix music for my own pleasure - kind of like a hobby and shit - I really just don't know how to go about doing it - whether it's getting equipment or whatever - When I learned to play bass, I bought a bass guitar and took lessons and practice - same thing with a six string - but I taught myself with a book - by with mixing, there doesn't seem to be any conventional way to go about this - none that I heard of - can anyone give any advice?------------------I put forth a generall inclination of all mankind, a perpetuall and restless desire of power after power, that ceaseth only in death. dw
Look for "DJ in a Box", or a similar package deal (for CD or vinyl). In NYC, you might find it in an electronics store that sells lower-end DJ equipment.Online, check http://www.pssl.com to see what's out there. You might find lower prices at http://www.123dj.com but I don't know what they're service is like.Is this what you're looking for? Depends on whether you have, or plan to play, mostly vinyl or mostly CD.Find something that allows you to hook up other stuff later on, if you so desire. Like if you get a CD combo, make sure there are input jacks for turntables.
pangelid
DO NOT ORDER FROM 123DJ. THEY are shady and your order may never come. I ordered Techs from there and they never came. Had to call the better business bureau to fix things. PSSL is good but expensive. Also try www.sixstardj.com
