nycmuzik Posted July 27 Report Share Posted July 27 Here's the deal.The Copa's not going to be opening until the early fall or the end of the year the latest. There's still construction going on at their new building, which I believe is at 34th and 8th, and thats the reason for the delay. They tried to stay longer at their current location but their lease ran out and the new owner's wanted to move in. The new building is going to be bigger and its probably gonna have seperate rooms for house, hip-hop, and latin. It's def. having a larger capacity and I wouldnt be surprised if it gets as packed as it did now since its like a block from Penn Station and MSG. Hope that clears things up a bit.
