If you don't like drum and bass, this event is not for you. We run plenty of nights with trance and house music. This isn't one of them. lumonicat Posted August 15 Author Report Share Posted August 15 AndrewThomas, my response to you was more mean-spirited than I believe should be on message boards, but "crappy djs" really got to me. Some background on monthly resident Danny Bled who puts "The Drum and Bass Collection." He is a great trance dj and has a great mix CD, and is also known for his industrial sets. He was involved with the legendary Church on Sunday nights at Groove Jet some years back. He has spun trance at Lumonics but his love is Drum & Bass, and after hearing his sets along with his guest djs, I have acquired quite a taste for that music. You can check him out live on THE WOMB on Thursday afternoons from 2pm-4pm where he does a program called Vital Collection with DJ Chuckie aka DJ Musique (another great trance dj). And next week at Lumonics is Northern Lights, featuring a lot of house music. Great music is what is important, regardless of the genre.
