dncr214
Hey people. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about restaurants in the south beach - ft. lauderdale area. Im looking for something different, out of the ordinary, cute, contemporary, and so forth. I heard of a place called BED so if you have any info on this or other places please let me know. Any help is appreciated.
joeygk
I haven't been there in awhile, but out in fort lauderdale there is a new orleans style cajun restaurant called "evangeline!" The food, and service is top-shelf all the way..............
irolldoyou
A really nice restaurant is Pearl in South Beach located in the Penrods building on top of Nikki Beach it is one of the local hot spots you should check it out and stay for the party that starts usually around 11 or 12.www.thisisnightlife.com
shroomy
Yes, Pearl is very nice as is Touch in the Lincoln Rd Mall area. Bed is fun and different for sure. (for food anyway)Opium is great for their twist on Sushi.Nothing exceptional near Ft. Laud. but the resteraunt on top of the pier 66 Hyatt is nice, good food and the best view in lauderdale. pumavisor808
Pearl is def hot... I just got back from Miam and I'd have to say that this was the highlight of the weekend... The place was everything I had heard and more.... Food, atmosphere, people and music were excellent!!! Just be prepared to spend some money!!! laliux
i reccomend Balans on Lincoln Road, Christy's in Coral Gables, Taberna Opa in Hollywood (this one is really fun with belly dancers) and i heard of one called Badabu or something like that , heard the waiters do magic tricks and the food is great too.
