abgrover
Isn't he supposed to be playing at Irving Plaza sometime soon? Anyone got any info? Saw him back when he released Endtroducing and he put on an amazing live show. The man's got skillz.

kjlive
I wish I wasn't so poor.Ever see that documentary about the homeless people living in the tunnels of Penn Station? It's called Dark Days. DJ Shadow did all the music for that.Plus he's part of the Quannum collective and their shit's pretty tight too.I wish I wasn't so poor.poor kjlive

trancebaby
Never heard of him, but he sounds good from what I hear. Does anyone know what type of music he plays or if he does other things as well? I wuold sure like to know more about him before I go see him and find out that hes totally not for me.

(whose album "psyence fiction" everyone should own by now! ) -- basicaly tripped out beats with a kind of dark, edgy, downtempo feel that makes you think about modern life and its hangups, with a shimmer of hope beneath. abgrover
DJ shadow should be respected by anyone involved in the music and club scene, whether you like house, trance, hip hop, whatever...because a good dj is a good dj.his juxtaposition of samples creates symphony-like trip hop, that is amazing to watch and hear. Not really dance music, but it's sort of the sountrack to our everyday life in NYC. It is really moody, but it is also full of slick beats that will make you bob your head.I recommend endtroducing over U.N.K.L.E. (personal preference)
