joeg Posted October 24 Report Share Posted October 24 I have ad-purger.... just do a search.... I think I got it off fileforum.com do a search on there...It stops popups, ads, banners.. etc.... You can even specify specific filters for specific sites....Just watch out, sometimes it doesn't let things you want to load, load... aboyfrombklyn Posted October 24 Report Share Posted October 24 I was checking out this website one day (not X-rated, but it did have X-rated ads) when all of a sudden this britneyspearsnude.exe application opened up and started dialing 900 #'s. $180 (four 1 min. calls, yeah $45/min!) worth of calls were charged to my parents phone bill and they were pissed. I don't know how the hell it happened, but it did. I was so pissed because it made my parents think that I was looking at porn. I told them that if I really wanted to look at porn on the web, I would just go to one of the million free sites. HAHA! Why would I risk getting in trouble with my parents by dialing some 900 #???? And do you think I would wanna pay when I could get it for free??? Well, my mother called the phone company and explained it all to them .They said that they weren't gonna charge her, but the company might. At least now I don't have to worry about it happening anymore. She put a block on 900 #'s.The biggest downside to all of this: I may have to pay $180 for four 1 minute calls and I didn't even get to see Britney nude!
