well every now and then probably everytime i am curious what other people think...i am going to bring up some topics that i am feel like bringing up..if u respond u respond ..i get tired of talking about clubbing and wanna know what you all think about issues big or little..esp the ladies...id like to hear what anyone thinks..to spice this board up some

first question or topic to start this thing off with..

DO U THINK CHEATING ON A GIRLFRIEND OR BOYFRIEND CAN BE DONE OVER AOL AND SHOULD IT RUIN A RELATIONSHIP??

personally i have seen friends go through it and i think it can ..like getting emails from someone from the past or trying to meet up with someone through aol..i think is the same as cheating i dont care what anyone says..yes call me Dr. ChynaDoll ..come on i know ppl have something to say..

my two cents

Hmm..maybe we should ask DaVe to start a new DC-Drama board

:D

But my 2 cents on the topic is that cheating on a BF or GF over AOL can ruin a relationship. Why?

Your obviously pulling that shit for a reason, especially if you dont know the person and you try to meet them by first getting to know them on-line.

If its an ex- that might not be the case always, even if it has been a long time since you last talked to him/her. Well at least thats from experience, after breaking up with an ex- I didnt hear from her in over 2 years, then somebody told her I was in town (yup, at firts I was WTF?!?!?!?) she got a hold of me and even though I was seeing someone at the time we both knew that nothing was going to happen between us and that at least we could still be friends, but I did tell the girl I was seeing at the time and she seemed cool with it at least until she dumped my ass...

Uh, anyway that is my perspective, if there is any to it....damn all this writting on relationships and stuff made me hungry.

well ill run down some scenarios i have seen and been involved in..for one i have met ppl through other ppl over the internet so i cant say that i have ever met someone randomly and just said i wanna meet you but anyways.. me and this guy were like talking over aol and the phone..just shooting the shit and like yeah he was like yeah we should hook up..and i have met this guy before so i knew how he looked like..nothing serious..then like we stop talking for a month cuz he lives out of state..then he like im's me this morning and tells me that he is depressed cuz him and his girl just broke up of 4 years..and i was like whoa whoa whoa ...didnt u tell me you didnt have one and then hes like oh well and starts laughing..and we had plans on kicking it in miami 2 weeks from now..hes like we totally still would do it but now hes heart broken booohoo whatever..grr.first of all what a slime bag for doing that to her becuz thats a form of cheating!!!..and good that she broke up with him..and hes mad at her because she admitted that she cheated on him while she was in london thats why they arent together too ..then i was like well then u cant be mad at her becuz you were cheating on her with me and he doesnt think of talking to me on aol or phone..or arranging to meet up with me with both of our mutual friends would have been cheating..

2nd scenario--my friends mom meets this guy over aol and seperates from her current husband and is living happily in a phat mansion...another case of breaking a relationship up and cheating

3rd--cybering over the internet and my girlfriend walked in on her man doing it.. i dont care if there werent swaps of bodily fluids..that is completely insane and disgusting..yuck!!!

does this break this down for you shady.. comment please

That's totally messed up shit!

Ok, for #1, I woudl say that it was cheating and that the guy cheated with you on her and with her on you, because he didnt tell either one what was going on. There is nothing bad if you chat with people on-line and stuff, in my opinion, but when your concealing it from your BF or GF that's out of whack 'cause it basically means that you are hiding something. In that case its a good thing that his ass got dumped although the GF wasnt an angel either and further what is the guarantee the guy wont do it again.

#2: that is totally cheating, i mean you get dovorced and get re-married like WTF? I dunno. I might be "Old Skool" for this but if your married, to me that is some sort of commitment that you keep unless things are really going wrong. You just dont divorce somebody that you met on-line 'cause theyve got some serious ca$h.

#3: the guy should close the door. :D

I wouldnt consider it cheating even though the guy had a girlfriend, weird, freaky, mental (probably) but not cheating, if that was the case, I would ask, how many times do people fantasize about others who are not their husbands, wives, GF or BF? I think we all fantasize, allthough wanking in front of the computer might seem weird, overall wanking off is pretty normal among people....that is what I have read......in, uh, scientific medical and pschological journals...

I guess that in the 3rd case the GF would have to ask the BF, what is going on here? Sex not good enough for you? If thats teh case and it cant be worked ut: dump his ass.

Let me see...

The guy chatted with you on AOL, and wanted to meet. Only speculation as to what *might* have happened if you guys actually met.

The GF actually physcially cheated on him with another guy.

Hmmm...and the guy is getting bashed for this?? Something wrong here...

Scenario 1 is NOT cheating, unless you have actually hooked up with him?? He can talk to other people and even make plans, but once you hook up then in my opinion thats cheating.

Scenario 2, Is just obviously stupid for breaking up with a hubby because some old man she doesn't even know has money. Guarantee she'll leave the old man soon, money isn't everything.

Scenario 3, I just do not understand the whole cybering thing and feel sorry for the people who do it. I would hate to see what these people look like and what they are thinking?? However I do not see that as cheating. Would you consider your bf going to a strip club cheating?

Damn, it took me all afternoon to read through those. I kept losing my train of thought (I'm working on three hours sleep today).

So, let's see:

#1. That dude AND his girlfriend are both fucked in the head. But I don't think you can classify arranging a meetup as cheating. Unless you guys were planning to, using your words, 'exchange bodily fluid'.

#2. No question. Don't even need to address that one.

#3. Grey area. Depends on the mentality. If they were really into each other, then sure. But if it's just your friend's boyfriend online with some ho, then I wouldn't really say that's cheating. It's basically like he was surfing Internet porn. But, if he's been talking to this chick for a while, and he's really into her, then I think you could say he cheated.

it depends on one or two variables ..if i know about it and its not hidden and we agree on it because i feel comfortable with it and why i say that is because some guys want u to except things but cant in return and the other thing is if i am present with him with the stripper..

and i really dont think its cheating unless hes screwing the chick after she strips for him, but hiding going to a strip club is grounds for dismissal

I ahve to disagree with that, first why would he want to go with you, not you personally, but his gf? Secondly I don't think guys make it a plan to go to the strip club that night, at least when I go(3x a yr) it is a spur of the moment thing for us. Either way it is not cheating, cheating invloves "exchanging bodily fluids." End of story.

are u disagreeing with the fact that i said i really dont think its cheating unless hes screwing the chick after she strips for him or just the reasoning that in the paragraph before that that would make it grounds for dismissal and def not make the relationship open and trustworthy??

Disagreeing with your reasoning, obviously open and trustworthy is good and needed to a degree, but somethings could be better off if not mentioned. I don't think it's grounds for dismissal if he was to go there one night and not tell you. Obviously if this was to happen a few times then maybe.
