With a crowd of over 1800 Saturday night, Nailz mixin and programing was on point and everyone felt it! I honestly felt like I was back in the DeSimone days. Just the music is ten times better. For anyone who thinks Nailz plays Hi Nrg bullshit think again. Come saturday Night and check it out. You'll hear for yourself! Some House, Some vocals, Some Hard trance a lil of everything! superflyguy Posted November 5 Author Report Share Posted November 5 Axis is now going to house all the progressive Dj's such as Michael Whalen, John Debo, Ali Ajami, as well as the global guest progressive Dj's.Avalon is where you will find the harder dj's such as Nailz, also guest spots by Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules and Fergie. However, Sasha+Digweed will be playing Saturday November 24 in Avalon because of the crowd size they bring. Nailz will be in Axis that evening. Doors are opening early that night and Tickets are on sale at the box office. Lynx, If you would like, come next Saturday with me, listen to all of Nailz set and point out what is cheese and what isn't. jules5335 Posted November 5 Report Share Posted November 5 I don't understand what all this cheese talk is? I have heard Nailz in the past and I really like the type of music he spins. I have heard him at Pulse for the DJ battle and he played different music than what he usually spins but DJ's play for the crowd. If you go to a certain club you expect to hear certain music. If a DJ plays a song that is old or may be played out everyone labels them a cheese DJ but I myself love hearing an old track or something played out that reminds me of all the good times that I had when I used to hear that song. As long as that is not all they play all night. I think DJ's should play a good mix of music. I don't want to hear trance all night or hard house and I'm sure other people don't want to hear vocals all night but if the DJ's plays a little bit of everything than everyone will be happy. As far as the shouldn't be in the postion he's in. There is no one in Boston that can fill Avalon consistently. They believe Nailz can. He got the shot, the past weeks have been great. If it continues, he'll stay if not. They'll find someone else. Scot Bond is a guest Dj, he is the only person from Gatecrasher and it has nothing to do with Avalon. It's the 411nightguide Anniversary party at Roxy on a Wed.BTW Nailz did not stir any drama. Nailz played a nasty set, The crowd grew larger and was bangin till the lights came on. Serious light show by Richie Fingaz. I want to thank all of you who came out and who got on our guestlist .
