Last night @ Deepdish (Or how I will never go back to CENTRO FLY!)

sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. Personally, I've always thought CentroFly sucked and have avoided it. but with twilo closed down, most of the good acts have been flocking to CentroFly. which unfortunately, doesn't change the suck factor any. it's a crappy layout, a dancefloor that becomes nothing but a hallway, usually icky poser-wannabe crowd, and I hate any place with bathroom attendants--as if I should feel pressured to pay someone $1 because I have to take care of a vital bodily function.

it's a shame that it's not managed better. the place just seems like one big vortex of bad vibes.

I got there about 12:15 (lil early, but my first time to centro), was welcomed in with great respect. I settled down in the VIP room. Just at that moment the dJ booth lights came on to show the crowd "Hey, we're here now"and off they went moving right into some mild upbeat DD while progressing to the chin bobbin' mixes into the night, they had a really great set. I left about 4:30, and the only thing that didn't fullfill my night was that they didn't play my newest favorite "rapture". But that withstanding, it was a great nite for us.

USUALLY I have no problems with the over crowded space..

the Fassion show of ZOOLANDERS sporting sunglasses

with diamond hearts in the dark..

the HIGH SOCIETY!

But last night was one of the worst club experiences

I've EVER had!

I had a really cool person help me in (I wont mention names)

Got in and got treated to VIP room status..

COOL SO FAR!

right?

WELL...

The place was packed with friendly faces

Music was bangin'..

dancing dancing..daancing..

AND THEN..

Water on my shoulder,

turn around to say excuse me..

See a big guy wearing sunglasses with an empty martini glass..

(I kid you not)

the motherfucker picks me up by my shirt...

(ripping the back)

Puts me up against a pole..

I elbow the guy in the face..

SECURITY GUARDS,

Flash lights..

thrown in the back..

wallet searched..

shit all comes out of the pockets..

Credit cards, money, coins, cigaretes

ALL OVER THE FLOOR!

DID THE GUY GET SEARCHED?

Nope...

Just ME!

Perhaps if I was wearing sunglasses,

a guchi shirt and a cowboy hat

I might have not gotten treated like a fucking

criminal..

Pissed off and with no apology

I make my way downstairs..

AND MY FRIEND CAN'T GET HER BAG BACK!

She's lost her ticket stub!

Well,

most places would give you a tsk-tsk..

and look for it..

(I've made this mistake at several clubs..

HELL EVEN TWILO'S BAG CHECK HELL

FOUND MY BAG ONCE WITH NO TICKET!)

BUT CENTRO..

nope!

won't budge~

In fact she went home with no ID..

NO BAG

and a pissed off MUGWUMP

that'll never go back to that glam fest over prized shit hole

where taking pictures

of a girl that was very sick and passed out...

It's sad when a club puts $$ over it's clients!

Specialy when it once started out so humbly..

so honestly..

And hosts such great talent!

(Why must DJs cater to such crappy venues!?)

A venue I WILL NEVER SUPPORT AGAIN! !

(I really hope you all think twice about returning!)

didn't ya know that it's COOL to wear sunglasses in a DARK club......i hear ya...bunch of morons..............they're just covering up their ugly faces with those sunglasses
