made records update

Regress Recordings is the underground, offshoot imprint of Made Records, the origin of the worldwide smash hit ³Rapture² track by Iio. The first release to be delivered from Regress is ³Sufi / Doobie² written and produced by Mavi. Mavi aka Yunus has also released another project on the highly acclaimed Fire Recordings earlier this year.

The A Side ³Sufi² Melds deep darkness with a euphoric progressive edge. Subtle, deep and sophisticated drum patterns are well complimented by the frightening and dissolving middle eastern effects. Sufi can also be found on the current Renaissance compilation by Nick Warren and Danny Howells.

The flipside, ³Doobie², offers a more peak time effect for the dance floor. The driving bassline leads perfectly into a melodic piano breakdown of long lost yesterday. John Digweed featured "Doobie" on his Kiss FM show.

MAVI, "SUFI/DOOBIE" HITS STORES NEXT WEEK.
