you must check it out...it's right next to spundae...perhaps you've heard of its alternate name "arena"...for the most part it is known as a gay club (which is why the promoters didn't put the name arena on the flyer) but thursday nights it blows up hetrosexual style...they had keoki last week (not really my bag) and d:fuse a couple weeks earlier...if you like chucky feelgood you should definitely consider bucking up and visiting this not so new venue

Haa...right after I posted that, I got the email from Ken for Core. In case you don't get it weyes:

Welcome to Core Event Group's newsletter for the week of Dec 13th.

CORE would once again thank all of our friends who came out last week to

CORE. With special Hard-CORE thanks going out to Basic, John Curley, Azra,

and Scott Blackwell. Even though we weren't in our venue we had that vibe

that everyone is talking about.

We are very excited for this week's event. We have a feeling that December

13th will be our best event yet. We have a special treat for your eardrums

and happy feet.

CHARLES FEELGOOD (djfeelgood.com,Baltimore,MD) Djmixed.com/djfeelgood now

available in stores on Moonshine Records.

Charles Feelgood put the Baltimore and Washington DC rave scene on the map.

Back in 1990, with his then partner Scott Henry, Feelgood co-produced and

launched his now legendary hometown club Fever, introducing Baltimore/DC to

featured DJs including Sven Vath, Dave Clark and Derrick Carter. As quoted

in the September, 2000 issue of Urb, " Fever& went on to form the

cornerstone of the Baltimore/DC rave scene". It was through Fever that

Feelgood embarked on a DJing career that has so far extended over a decade,

which shows no signs of slowing down.

Feelgood's ability to drop kick-ass House music conveniently allows him to

crossover between raves and clubs with ease and it is this talent that has

enabled him to consistently rake in the praise and admiration from fans and

fellow DJs alike. It was from this exposure with Feelgood's vibrant

personality and banging peak hour House sets, one can't help but be a fan.

PAULI P (Studio 64, paulipresents.com, SD)

As a major contributor to the Southern California music scene, he has

solicited some of the best talent from around the world. He was the first

promoter to introduce Legendary Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed and Carl

Cox to San Diego. His experience, commitment, passion, and continued

involvement in the arena of electronic music, has contributed to the

evolution of his impressive DJ skills. His performance has launched him to

Lima Peru and Bourdorx France where he was meet with huge success. He tours

southern California and Las Vegas weekely.

CHRIS BOHN (Parlay Records)

What can be said about the man who is consistently described as a mix of DJ

Dan and Bad Boy Bill. One of our top choices CORE will let Chris loose to

tear it up with our closing set.

plus our resident:

Jeremy Dawson of Slyder (Generation/Slinky Recordings)

CORE goes off every Thursday at 6655 Santa Monica Blvd. (two blocks east of

Highland) It is a 21+ event that goes from 9pm to 3am.
