scratchapella
i'm expecting most peeps to say "the DJ". . .but for myself, i'd definitely pick being a producer. i'd love to actually create the music being mixed. . .play with drum patterns. . .make up crazy monikers. . .it's that, or i'd want to be the investor, i'd have grips of money just to have promoters come beg at my feet and throw parties and to make all the partykids happy
scratchapella
oooh, that's another one. but who do you think gets more control of the party, the promter or the venue owners?
vicman
I would pick John Holmes...'nuff said.... oh wait, what industry are we talking about? ok, music, hmmmm.....i guess i would keep it here in DC and would like to be Scott Henry, the more I listen to him spin the more I like him, he spins different types of music, the work he's put into making Buzz what it is today, and the fact that everyone pretty much agrees that he's a great person. If not him, then I would like to be better known as a producer, say a Medway, 16B, Green Velvet, etc. basically 'cuz all the behind the scenes work it takes to be a good producer, plus I owuld like to live in a large city and I would still like to be able to go out and do my own grocery shopping with out being easily recognized. vicman
if i wa sto be a DJ i would like to be an old skool one, like Ron Trent...there from the start, he's now a legend
Kuro
DJ and producer. Seems like a lot of producers are DJs these days anyway (sometimes with less than spectacular results). I'm greatly enjoying my efforts at making music, but it would also be cool to be the one playing it for people and rocking a party.
