(For the uninitiated: "cheesy" and "theme bar" usually go hand in hand.) Paying tribute to the friendly skies, it offers a neat, '60s-style airport lounge in the main area and a side room that's modeled after the interior of a retro 747 jet -- complete with porthole windows, authentic airplane seats and everything. Customers disguised as passengers order pricey cocktails off drink menus designed to look like in-flight safety cards. Even the bathrooms are impressive replicas (no mile-high club reference, thank you very much). There are, however, a few unfaithful elements. Instead of hearing muffled announcements from your captain about buckling your safety belt, DJs spin a soundtrack wrought with deep house and underground world beat every Tuesday through Saturday night for no cover.
