What inspired you to become a dj?

Music has always been a main focus of my life. Once I fell in love with this music, it was only a matter of time before I found myself behind the decks.It's awesome to share new music with people. :-)

how would you describe your dj style?

I like funky, sexy grooves that make the dancefloor move! My style is mostly upbeat, funky House, but I have a love for dnb, so it gets it fair share of play, too. :-)

what is the first music you remember hearing as a child?

The Beatles, James Taylor ... my dad was always listening to them (still does), so that's what I remember hearing! The first record I remember owning was Disco Mickey Mouse. Damn, I used to rock out to that album. hehe.

Charles Feelgood is one of my favorites because knows how to deliver the funk! His skills and energy are where I aspire to be. Most of all, however, my friends & family (who seem to all be DJs) have been the most supportive & inspiring to me!

do you produce your own tracks?

I don't spend nearly as much time as I'd like doing this, but I've got a few tracks I'm working on. I need to lock myself in the studio for a weekend, so I might actually finish one! I like writing some "experimental" tracks, but mostly more along the lines of what I like to play ... funky grooves! :-)

I see underground dance music becoming increasingly popular & slowly becoming more mainstream. This means more exposure for all the hard working DJs & producers out there, but it also means everyone & their mother will probably be jumping on the bandwagon ...

how would you assess the dance scene these days?

It got its good & bad points.. We need more positive people pushing things forward & less drama!
