shugabooga Posted February 15 Report Share Posted February 15 not all that great. i've noticed that the rugs are FILTHY. it's more like a wanna-be club than a real club. plus, if you get there and you don't like it, your alternatives in the neighborhood are zilch. so basically you'll waste a lot of $$ on cab fare. Alexandra Posted February 15 Report Share Posted February 15 I went to Cream this summer for a friend's birthday and wasn't too impressed... its a small space broken into 2 rooms: a hip hop/reggae lounge (a small space with carpets, a couch or 2 and a bar) and a "house" room (even smaller). Its a small space, but it never got crowded when I was there. The crowd was varied and was pretty much groups of friends. there weren't any singles, and everyone hung out with who they came with. No one really danced, either. It would be a cool space if it was a free or even $5 lounge, but is definitely not woth the $20 cover! Then again, that's just my opinion.If you want to hear great music and hang out with a young, cool, yet totally unpretentious crowd for FREE, I suggest hitting up one of my favorite spots: Plant, on 3rd Street btw Ave. B & C.Have fun either way!xoxoAlexandra Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
