mitchwaas Posted March 20 Report Share Posted March 20 Pretty much everything's cool now, yeah... the only problem at Avalanche was the fact that there was no one watching over the volume level out back - I was mostly handling the crowd upstairs, so the volume in the backyard got a bit out of hand.For this next party, I've hired someone to watch over the back half of my house, and help keep the volume level under control. That was the ONLY problem with Avalanche - either a neighbor complained, or more likely an officer was patrolling the streets and heard the noise... so at 3:30am the Davie PD rolled in and told everyone to go home. No hassles, just "go home now, please." (Really it wasn't a bad time for that to happen - the party had already peaked and things were slowly starting to wind down.)Of the 120 people that were there when the police arrived, I sent about 100 home, leaving 20 of us to party. Over the next few hours a bunch of people came (and some others left), leaving us with a nice chill afterparty, which lasted until around 10am.With Escape, since I'm having both a front AND a back yard security, I really don't anticipate any problems.
