ghhhhhost Posted March 22 Report Share Posted March 22 SUNY Old Westbury is the most thugged out college ive been to in the northeast. wow man..when i say thugged out i mean like..i went there once for some comedy thing and i was the only one not wearing a jersey and a fitted hat..its nuts. as for academics..im not sure how strong they are. It's not known for its quality students, to say the least. But Old Westbury is VERY wealthy area in itself, approx. 25 to 30 mins from the city barring traffic. A few good schools on Long Island to consider instead:SUNY Stonybrook (a little farther out, like 50 mins. away)Hofstra (about the same distance as westbury)Dowling (south shore) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
