  1. R:\Santos Party House>RESTORE agoodf*kintime.exe (portion of the proceeds to go to Hope for Haiti) R:\ is an event inspired by a need to push the dance music scene forward into the next decade, embracing technology and social media, but with a strong focus on the essential elements that go into making a real party vibe. With the dance music scene growing steadily and also becoming more and more fragmented, the very identity and soul of dance music culture is in peril. R:\, the precursor to an upcoming international series of events called REBOOT, was created to give party-goers just a taste of Global Frequencies' mission in 2010: to restore the local party spirit by creating a very grassroots and organic platform for the hottest local and international breakthrough talent today. Bottom line – we’re out to have a good f*cking time. If there's one thing we learned throughout the years, it's just that - and we're not stopping until you experience our dancefloor euphoria. Call it a revolution, call it “going back to basics†– whatever your take, we're bringing the good times BACK. The music will be fist-pumpin’, booty-shakin’ dance music all night long. Come hang with your friends, make some new ones, and dance your ass off. What more could we possibly ask for? Please RSVP full names to: santos@globalfrequencies.com Here’s the lineup: Julian Prince [stereo - Montreal] – We absolutely make it a point to bring this incredible Montreal import to NYC at least twice a year - and for great reason... we just can't stop dancing when he's DJ'ing! Whether he's spinning as the resident of Stereo, Montreal or rockin the decks at the most exclusive afterhour parties in NYC, you can be sure that what you'll be hearing is some of the most bangin', groovy tech-house today. A true entertainer and a well-respected DJ/Producer, Julian's productions and and DJ mixes have appealed to tastemakers of dance music from all around the world. Listen here: http://www.djjulianprince.com http://www.myspace.com/handgrenadepimps Thomas Pategas [Global Frequencies - NYC] – This man has been tearing through this city for the past 7 years with his incredible track selection and flawless mixing. Over the years, he's gained an extremely loyal following by spinning funky house tracks poured over chunky bass lines – a unique sound that has made him on of the top DJs in NYC nightlife. Often leaning towards the techy side of house music, he's mastered the winning craft of bringing dirty jackin' beats to the DJ decks, earning recognition and respect from DJ talents, club-goers, and promoters alike. With live gigs in numerous cities from Playa del Carmen to London to Miami to NYC, and at some of the biggest clubs including Pacha, Crobar, Cielo, Pink Elephant, Rebel, Duvet, Le Souk, Room Service, Sullivan Room, and Kiss n Fly to name a few, Thomas' sound is indeed far-reaching, bolstered by playing along side international heavyweights such as Francois K, Steve Lawler, Audiofly, Desyn Masiello, Luke Fair, Sultan and Peace Division. Listen here: http://www.soundcloud.com/thomaspategas http://www.myspace.com/thomaspategas Billy Disciple & Deepspell [undulate Recordings - NYC] – Seriously, we have as much fun watching these guys spin as we do dancing to their incredible music! For the last five years, Billy Disciple and Deepspell have been at forefront of New York City’s electronic music culture. Over the span of their career, this talented duo has performed all along the east coast, and has been billed with some of the industry’s most prolific artists, including Terry Lee Brown Junior, Kevin Saunderson, Josh Wink, Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Chloe Harris, and many others. Billy and Deepspell have thrown down in the biggest of the NYC megaclubs including Crobar NYC, Pacha, Sullivan Room, Palm Bar, and Studio B, to name a few. Once the driving force behind People NYC, Billy & Al were responsible for organizing several of the most innovative events to hit New York, including the New York City debuts of Pig & Dan and D-Formation.
