in ur case i understand, but alot of ppl that do buy camera phones nowadays is just because of the hype/cheezy statement they want, even tho most carriers nowadays pratically give away camera for Zero dollars, i personally wouldn't have any use for it. I tend to carry my digital camera always with me if im in miami and for work, so it comes in handy(i know its no slr, so im not comparing or anything). I know the benefits as well, they brainwashed me w/ all their marketing/sales tequinics...

I was there during wmc for JP and the place was packed, but it was 99% NYC crew plus offcourse it was JP...I had fun, that's because I had good company. They've been open for how long? 2 years now...what good is to change a name if you're gonna keep the same look, same ppl, no vibe. I've worked in clubs in the past before, and i know for a fact that if the club or company is not making as much profit($) as they should, they would try new things, change things around, or move on, and i would be looking for a new stable job. Now I don't know what their profit margin is like, but judging from the looks of it, it ain't the best(from a spectators/club goer point of view).

I once worked for Verizon Wireless...personally I could careless which topnotch camera phone id have if there's always gonna be something out there to top it...a phone is meant to make/receive calls, all this other nonsense is cheezy HS material and another reason to spend a few hundred bucks on something you're gonna get bored of in no time

It's clearly that no one goes to this venue anymore on fri/sat nights, maybe mon nights and major events every once in a while...id say if House is not making you money than switch it to reggaeton or hip hop and do an after hours morning session, or sell the place

Now the little yellow guy who lives in a pineapple under the sea is at the center of a far grimmer controversy, again not of his own making. Two conservative Christian groups attacking the cartoon character for allegedly being part of, as one of them put it, a "pro-homosexual video." A man named Dr. James Dobson, founder of a conservative Christian group called "Focus on the Family" addressed members of Congress at a black tie dinner in Washington celebrating the president's election victory this week. He advised the group that SpongeBob had been included in a pro-homosexual video which was to be mailed to thousands of elementary schools to push a tolerance pledge by kids, including tolerance of differences of what Dr. Dobson called "sexual identity." Dr. Dobson said most of the favorite cartoons of America's kids were in on the plot, Barney and Jimmy Neutron included. There is a video. It was broadcast in 2002 and has been revised for distribution to schools in March. It does promote tolerance of diversity, but contains no reference to sex, sexual lifestyle, sexual identity or Paris Hilton. The eight-page long teacher's guide that accompanies that DVD makes three passing references to same-sex parents. It contains generic advice about what teachers should do if kids ask them about atypical homes— like ones with adoptive parents, step-siblings, or grandparents. Teachers are advised to remind kids that everybody's family is different, but they're all based on love. Dr. Dobson's press spokesman says he's not sure whether or not Dr. Dobson has seen the SpongeBob video, but he has been briefed on it. And an assistant says the group stands by its claim, and says, "We see the video as an insidious means by which the organization is manipulating and potentially brainwashing kids. It's a classic bait and switch." Bait and switch, a fish reference for an underwater cartoon. Clever. Though the revised "SpongeBob and Friends tape," which is to be distributed to the schools, is not supposed to be released until March, we've gotten a hold of the advanced copy from the "We Are Family Foundation," which produced it. It is a foundation created by the man who wrote the disco hit of 1979, "We Are Family." Below is the whole thing, with the caveat that if the folks from Focus on the Family are right, it could make you, your children or maybe your furniture gay. Or tolerant.

This is an open discussion, no bashing here... Why are they still around? Really...they can't be making any money other than every once in a while on a special event...how can such a club make money when they are open thru the weekend w/ maybe 5-10 people in there counting for their staff, so that really makes it about 3-5 club goers...i know the only good night for them is Monday afterhours, which i believe it's gay night?...just surprised how they are still hanging around

For house music... Mondays you can go to Tantra...Tuesdays you can go to Roomies...Wednesday "Bed"...Thursdays "Oxygen"...Friday "Prive" , "Amika" or "Crobar".. Saturday we have Afterhours at Nocturnal..."Space"..."Mansion"...and sunday afterhours at space and Nikki beach or Amika at night. Im pretty sure there are many other clubs but im just helping you out with some...and which are good... For hip hop... Monday you can go to bed...Tuesday..Roomies plays hip hop and house...wednesday you can go to Mansion which they play a bit of everything...Thursday you can also try Oxygen which plays house and hip hop...Fridays you can go to Nocturnal...Saturday "AMika and State... and thats all I know.. For the 80's You can try Rockbar...not sure what night is good but im sure they play the 80's there.... Well I hope you enjoy your time in miami!!!
