For someone who constantly says the sky is falling, I'm a little disappointed you didn't lead by example. lol personally i still think these "hybrids" are a joke...you might get an extra 5-25 mpg but you also have to sacrifice good looks for the "hybrid look". when they start with HO2 than i'll be interested in a "hybrid" vehicle, but i doubt they will ever do that.

Yeah I rolled into the dealer today with the information about how much they actaully paid for the car plus dealer fees from Consumer Reports.The sticker price for my 2007 car was $23K, I got it for $18,500. Only $200 above what the dealer paid for it. The sales person laughed at me when I presented my price and she said "you expect us to just make $200 off the car"? I laughed back and said yes. I walked out of another dealer last night when they wouldn't give me my price and I'll walk out right now if you don't give me this price. It's the end of the month and you guys have to make your quota. I know exaclty how much you paid for this car and I don't think I should have to pay anymore than what you guys paid to get the car here plus your dealer fee". The lady left with my proposal, went to the sales managers office and came back 2 minutes later and said we had a deal. What are they going to do when you have all the info on how much they paid for the car? They can't justify marking up the price anymore. I will post pics of the new car tomorrow.. I got a 2007 Mazda 3. 2.3 Liter DOHC engine in galaxy gray! ;D good thing you didn't buy it from me...lol im just messing...than again other than the "dealer" someone else has to make a living, since the salesperson doesnt exactly have a "quota" per month...they can sell 5 cars in a month with enough gross on each car that would total 20 cars if the dealer made no gross. Most people want to go for the gross rather than no gross just volume. Depending on the dealer, if it's carmax or a larger dealer...they will put equivalent of up to $2500 bucks on a car that passes their certified inspection, if not than they will just sell it on auction/wholesale. So the whole $500 for a full 1-2 hours detail is worth the cost in this case because someone else has to get paid. Offcourse the average consumer doesn't think like this...as everyone is trying to get the best deal possible. Which anywhere you go it's going to be like that. I would want the best deal possible as well. But alot of times they aren't really "ripping" people off if they are selling more than cost since they do have to go thru a certifed safety inspection, get new tires/brake pads, have people fix dents/cracks/paint chips...u name it. It all costs $ down the road. But anyways im tired lol...congrats on the purchase.

Funny when I used to come here for vacations Ocean drive was the place to walk up and down.....always met some crazy people, saw some guy with a huge snake around his neck, and found a great place to go for the night. ALWAYS go to wet willies when you are here on vacation to much fun, and 2 drinks will knock you on your ass. Im sure they still do that as well. ocean drive or lincoln road

Cool - where is the venue located. Gotta love these places where u gotta wait more than 10 minutes to get into a club and people actually wait. Shit I used to do the same thing, but that was when I didn't know many places nor people. Now the places that I have to wait in line for too long by some tight leather pants fag w/ orange tan, i just keep on moving cuz that deff is not the spot for me.

Like some people have said, if you are planning on going to a club/venue/pool party in sobe during that week its gonna be crazy...that whole week from the 19th-25th is one of the biggest if not biggest week in south beach for WMC/Spring Break. I have friends in both NYC & DC that have already booked their hotels/plane tix for that week/weekend. Anywhere you go if you don't have pre sales tix, you're either gonna pay at least $50-$100 min to get into a venue or have a hard time getting in. Most of the venues that would be worth you going to hear Hip Hop will be playing Electronic/Dance music those days. For tourists Bal Harbour to Las Olas/Downtown Fort Lauderdale is quite far. I lived in Bal Harbour/Bay Harbour Island(same thing) for a while and the ride was far when I was not used to the distance. Automatic Slims has the hottest women in Fort Lauderdale for what you are asking for. Also Gryphon/Pangea @ the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel in Fort Lauderdale is also very good, lots of hotties. Both places play good hip hop, no crunk type of ppl allowed, and lots of women. Strip Club=Scarletts...in Hallandale, right off the 95, they close @ 8am, so u can go after all the other clubs close and the place is still pumping.

Said by Motor Trend...that says alot for the people that drive/test cars for a living. i've owned 5 domestics and 2 imports...the imports were the cars i actually wanted to get, the others were just cars that got me from point a to point b. However stress with the domestics are much greater than the imports. My next one will most likely be a toyota, just a hard to decision to make right now, as if im going w/ a sedan or a 2 sports car.
