At this stage of the game you shouldn't have issues at venues worth going to. i was speaking for guys in general... was never talking about me... but that's all you see so i'll let it go :-*

when you combine morillo or guetta at a vip/lounge type of venue u are guaranteed to see lots of "potential". I was at suite last night w/ a big group and there was a shitload of women. 90% of those women only go to those type of places.

If i were to stop drinking liquor on the weekends would that make a major difference on how i look in terms of working out? I don't drink beer, the only thing i do drink is bacardi & diet coke. I go to la fitness because i am up here in hallandale beach/aventura area, even tho i work in miracle mile. When i lived in otown back in '05 i used to do some real hard leg presses, up to 7-8 45's on each side, but the problem with that would be that i had a tedency to feel very nauseous after that work out and sometimes i would throw up on my way home lol.

The starter of the thread knows how it goes around here when it comes to clubs and he's right..guys get treated like shit at some of these doors and u can have the look and everything but if the doorman is on a powergrip that night then your fucked. I say let the rant go on...we dont need to be educated..so Coach and Pod get off your high horses and let people express their de-satisfactions. If your happy with the way things are then good for you but a lot of us dont feel that its proper treatment.. right on, i can name all the clubs for them...that is not my point, has nothing to do with "well find the clubs that u like, than go to them", well i've been here long enough, i know about all those clubs...that is not the reason i started the thread.

I am sorry but I never went home having spent less than at least $150 on my drinking alone and that is just a short night out for me....Sure you get a comp here and there but I am surely not the freeloader type, I make my own dough, thank you very much. Girls who have all their drinks paid for usually deal with retards on regular basis. He was not talking about you, im sure u knew that before replying. Also, this thread does not have to do about me getting into a club or not as i mentioned i haven't been to the beach in a very long time. This thread has nothing to do with who you know at the door/venue. No one is talking about a sausage fest, there should be some sort of system. Im sure paying for a second or maybe third guy would not cost too much cash flow for the venue when the door gets hectic. I am talking about guys in general, getting treated like scums at the door. You plan your night out, get ready, call all your friends, than you get to the door, and you get treated like shit, so you think to yourself "hmmmm, does this club really deserves my money?". One person not spending 20-300 bucks that night might not hurt the venue's profits, but think about how many potential clients that could've spent alot more at the bar/vip if they got treated with "respect" at the door. It's all about first impression. If i go to a hotel expecting 5 star amenities, service, hospitality, and once i get there there's no customer service support, employees treat me like shit, chances are i would not go back. Seems like clubs haven't really caught up to that, or they just don't give a fuck because they feel that the club will be full regardless of who gets in. I still feel that if you treat someone right to begin with not only will you get repeative business, but that's the best advertising money you will ever spend hence referrals.

props to you bro, i've been slacking big time, used to be 185-190 back in 03-04, worked out w/ a trainer for 4 months than solo went up to 230-240, but now im down to 230 @ 6'5...wish i was 250 plus. props on the hard work.

As i read thru some of the threads i've noticed nothing has change about the whole "door drama" with clubs in miami or any other major city. One of the biggest reasons i don't go to the beach nowadays. After going to every club/lounge down there, i tend to avoid venus that make guys wait more than 10-20 minutes in line. It's one thing to make someone wait a few minutes, but 1-2 hours is a slap on the face. Why should men get treated like dog shit at the door when they are the ones getting tables, bottles, tabs, i can go on n on. Sure a club does not want to be "labeled" as "guy door friendly" as some homophobic people might think of it as a gay bar/venue, however it seems that every year the whole door drama gets worse and worse. Specially for the locals that don't go out as much as they used to. I remember way back in the day when Mynt leather pants "Fabrizio's wannabes" would make couples wait, than they would let their girlfriends inside and make the guys wait in line. I am sure that has not changed. I still think night clubs should obtain the same rules that strip clubs have when it comes to the door. Only let girls in if they r being escorted by guys. Why? Well women "generally" don't spend money in a club like men do. Sure women can afford it and i know many that buy their own drinks, but strip clubs at least the big ones do not let women by themselves inside their venue. Deep down unless you are 18-21 years old that you must sell your soul to get into a club, how desperate can you be and how much of the abuse will you take?
