On another note, I'm beginning to feel armand pena's productions- i like latin funk too...i thought electro was dead but it's been an on going thing for what like 2-3 years now? i can do some of it here and there...but just not all night. all the top clubs play down here is electro...no variety, unless u go to a smaller venue u will hear some other type of genres, shit even on a sunday afternoon where it's suppose to be a bit more funky and relaxing type of house music...dj s are spinning 200 bpm electro. again not hating on electro, but that's really what miami is more or less known for these days, hence why the 4'11 sunglasses shades crowd during the 4th of july party this year couldn't give 2 shits for C&C.

Will do my best to attend just for my appreciation to 107 FM for some killer sets on my way to work every morning/afternoon and on my way home. Any idea when you guys are going to "boost" up your antennas? not sure how to put it into words, seems like the broadcast is not as strong as the other bigger stations or maybe it only works at certain types of miami. I work in the gables and it works decent but sometimes it cuts in/out. But the bottom line is that im glad at least someone came out with this, got tired of the 6 hip hop stations playing top 10 hip hop commercial tracks. i've lived in the 33139 zip code, right on 13th/collins...the 7th story yellow building where the subway used to be, not sure if its still there...that was about 4-5 years ago i believe. the rent at that time was 1200 for a 2/2, my place faced crunch n the back alley, some apts had partial n full ocean view, my major problem with the building was no parking, prostitution on collins during the weekend, hip hoppers on collins/washington yelling hey ma!, and the old people in the building that still lived there. if i had a choice n the funds i would live south of 5th or along west with all the strippers.

us1 sucks in the morning n afternoon - i also drive to n from work, but now i take douglas rd n the 836 on my way to work, less traffic...but take us1 back home.
