  1. next time when you're in the car and you feel like it's a bit too cold in there but you dont wanna change the AC the old school way(manually), you can press the "voice" button on the information center dash console and say "Passenger Temperature 70(or whatever you wish)" and it will do for ya. gots to love technology Pat btw i was reading a report regarding your brakes and it looks like the Sport models have the largest brakes Nissan has ever put in one of their vehicles. So be proud of your 13" inch diameters all around. Rumors are saying since the new VQ35HR(HR stands for High Rev) is not only completely redesigned it's also a much stronger block and crank which can hold up to 1000hp or so(not tested), this is the beefiest VQ built thus far by Nissan, the rods are forged & pistons have been taken apart and showed significance results of how much R & D they've put into this car. It seems to me that Nissan is up to something and by introducing this revolutionized motor, it's an easy way to introduce the "gtr" maybe. Chances are it will be a Twin Turbo 3.7 liter stroked vq35hr w/ some crazy heads from Cosworth! You really got what you paid for. long live the VQ35HR!! I'll stop with my tech car talk don't wanna get flammed cuz i drive a car that gets me from point a to point b. :
  2. keep on the look out for me on which weekend of the month would be good to come out there i was thinking maybe feb/march since i have to let my employed know a few weeks in advance.
  3. Josh... All i got a say is Myspace is your friend.... do a search on there for starters... I know all those peeps ur talking about...but i dont quite associate myself w/ them, they are more like club aquaitances.
  4. I give payed club dancers credit, but ask those girls you see dancing w/ the costumes if they dance the same exact way if they weren't working that night at the club and were just wearing some flat sole sneakers no costumes and i guarantee you most of them would say fcuk no. Not that there's anything wrong w/ how they dance while working, but they dont quite dance like that when they are not getting paid. Just a different style, different hand moves, not so "diva-ish" per say, im not talking about jumping around going nuts like u see some of those 4'11 mohawk idiots do in the patio for instance... A club is made for dancing, if you don't dance, than you shouldn't be on the dancefloor to begin with. If you are than be prepared to get tagged or bumped into. It's obvious you got a job to do being a photographer, but remember "Shit happens" especially when 90% of the people are intoxicated. We know how you love NYC so much The only difference is that there people respect the dancers(non paid ones), they show support, and the ones that don't dance can usually join their non dancer buddies in the VIP or at the bar which is the safer hang out spot if you don't want to get stomp on by someone "being themselves", unlike most places in South Florida. People are too worried about what others think of them and how they will pre-judge 'em.
  5. Toyota creating alcohol detection system Wed Jan 3, 7:13 AM ET TOKYO - Toyota Motor Corp. is developing a fail-safe system for cars that detects drunken drivers and automatically shuts the vehicle down if sensors pick up signs of excessive alcohol consumption, a news report said Wednesday. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070103/ap_on_hi_te/japan_toyota_drunken_driving
  6. \Thanks Luis, did you ever end up seeing him at Space? Did he end up coming that white party weekend? he's not tribal anymore, he's all electro...major dissapointment...
  7. true true id rather have both tho, it's just my high standards : besides wouldn't u want a good looking chick in bed ;D
  8. most likely twilo, that's where i see him playing...but that's just me. told u bout taking a trip up to nyc bro, ur boy alex g is all for it too, i'll be out of the scene down here but i can take a weekend off for nyc.
  9. cute girl that can dance, that's always a plus if only more chicks would step up these days, at least that's how we see down here...seems to be more of the "look at my cheap champagne flute glass w/ korbel @ $15 a glass that i didn't pay for(giggles)".
  10. nick n his crew... good job filming chicks brotha, next time make em kiss on video
  11. please tell me you guys are going to book chus and ceballos...
  12. offcourse... He's a NYC resident...so you know he's gonna drop good shit...imagine him, chus n ceballos, vc, dt, richie s, peter bailey, nyc/spain/portugal peeps, all in one week...but hey that's our tastes, one of the reasons i've been out of space(not that i dont like space) but im just dead tired of hearing more than two electro songs, it's all the same at least to me it is...im referring to the patio as well, since i did catch boris in the main room that night vc was next door, but if i had to compare the two, its a bit hard to do so...i guess it would also depend on the venue.
  13. No wonder you love your displacements V8's, you are a true classic example of the average patriot that has passion in an "american" sport because of how BIG something is. Big is better is basically what you are saying. Tyson has great punches...can he also do submissions? I didn't see any in that video, let me watch it one more time. Jiu Jitsu guys will take any average 200-300lbs amateur boxer on the street, if he's really paranoid he might even get you close to death as i've seen in many incidents on the news. It's not about how big your biceps are, yes that helps, but it won't really mean much when you're chin is scraping the floor and you're lungs are reaching for that last breath of air. It's all about the submissions, that's what makes it a true intense sport, agility to act fast, know what your opponent is going to do next, ect. UFC, AFC, Pride, u name it....i dont call it "wrestling" because "wrestling" is entirely something else...since "vale tudo" or "freestyle/cage fighting" has many different martial arts that can be used by fighters such as aikido, jiu jitsu, boxing, u name it...the point of the game is to end the fight as fast as you can, not to give a show to the crowd. I've seen not so BIG fighters end fights in less than 30-60 seconds. It's not the wrestling as some may call it, it's all about submissions. I grew up around Judo, know many people that do jiu-jitsu, a client of mine(big guy, 5'11 @ 240) has been doing cage fighting for many many years, not professionally. Good sport.
  14. this is exactly how i feel about nascar, going around in a circle 200 plus times and they spend billions...even if i were blasted id still fall asleep. freestyle/cage fighting has been around for years but since it started as a non american sport, it's automatically a dumb sport.
  15. it wont be much of a surprise if the new camaro's interior will be as ugly and cheap as the new vette.
  16. The cat is running away.lol. Funny Oh I see! The hood ornament is turned backwards... That is funny. See I don't look at closely at Jags so I didn't get it at first.. you're not missing out much other than maybe the new XKR
  17. American Muscle... what a joke 5,000 miles and it falls apart, if you had the money you would have went for something real like a german sports car, gotta go with the other guys on this one.... cough*toolbox*cough I only buy American, it's been that way in my family since the 1970's. If I won the lottery tomorrow, my garage would still be only American, and proud of it. I guess thats how tradition works haha, but ya gotta admit American cars are built like shit compared to some of the international car dealers like Mercedes and Audi. Gm ranks well above audi and benz and beemer according to jd power... but you knew that. Buick is ranked #2 behind Lexus, again you knew this. I'm proud to drive only american, shitty cars or not, it's what we like to drive. Who's "we"??? The Toyota Camry just won best car of the year. Best selling car in the last 10 years in every category. Motor Trend's top 5 comparison out of 40 cars didnt even include an american car. Please avoid using the word "we" when it comes to cars unless you're talking about your "school bus steering wheel" mustang boys.
  18. GM/Ford are both looking at your post right now and saying "See I told You Our people would fall for it". It's called Ignorance I'll give you my Beretta steering wheel as a New Years gift so you can start 2007 with a normal automobile standard steering wheel. Only a little girl would go around searching or asking people aka Pod and whoever for pictures of other people's car. Should i copy/paste that "letter" that i made in your lame thread regarding you writing a note to the Editors of Motor Trend for talking shit about your car? It's not about the car that you own/drive, it's about what you know. It was your choice of buying that non retro mustang, never said it was my choice of having the car i currently drive. 2 completely different things, something you will never understand.
  19. and a 2 year subscription to myspace's newsletter so he can be in touch with all the latest gossip and news! ;D
  20. He has the black/black fully loaded w/ navi, premium, tech, 6 speed very rare ride hey pat...hope you're taking care of her Send me some referrals kid! hehe Isn't this your favorite car D? You know you'll be begging to rid shotgun... It's deff one of them I've driven this one already. It was the last one we had, waiting to get some more just like it. I have one just like his but it's not the sport and its an auto, still fun tho. when driving this car, you just clear all the things you have in your head and forget about everything till you come to a stop. that's how i put it, but im just a car guy too. 8)
  21. that's why u couldn't afford a real stang like the saleens or wait for the gt500, right? i drove a 06 gt w/ under 1000 miles, stick, was not very impressed, that steering wheel is as large as a metro bus...id start on an aftermarket steering wheel first...but that's just me. That interior is not too far from the "Stang's retro" look either.
  22. wtf man cmon - be a true newyorker!! set times please...some of us work the following day
