  1. Hey Glide.. I use a software called Neroburn to make my cd's, and it burns right from Mp3..so you don't even have to convert anything, which is nice. -Jill ------------------
  2. I am definitely going, and even though I look young, I am no kid (26)... I personally like events at Randalls Island cause you can get in the thick of it, or hang out on the bleachers and chill... It is kinda a bitch to get there though, if you are taking the train from manhattan, 125th and lex where you get off is not your best neighborhood..but sometimes you can can lucky and grab a cab instead of having to wait forever for the bus.... everyone pray for no rain!!! NOOOO RRAAAAIIN! -J ------------------
  3. I have been looking for something that does exactly that...I can record the real audio. but only to a wav. file, and long sets make a file that is so damn huge!! 2 things to try...I have read that audiograbber records right to MP3...also something called musicmatch jukebox. I havent had the time to DL these and try..but if you do...please give me a report on how it works!! smoknjilly@aol.com Thanks much..I hope they work..I know audiograbber is free..not sure how much musicmatch jukebox is...go here...this is one of my favorite websites, digital audio freak that I am... http://software.cybertropix.com/?sort=type&only=5 -Jill ------------------
  4. Thank you Telly...that is what I meant to say more clearly, that NONE of the dj's in NYC..or in america anywhere that I have heard about..play anything quite like the UK "hard house sound" . Some people think hard house is JR., some people think badboy bill...that's the problem, everyone classification and opinion is different. -J ------------------
  5. No..the UK "HARD HOUSE" sound is nothing like the NYC hard house sound...no commercial vocal remixes and the crap (sorry to everyone who likes it, you are allowed to like it, I just happen to despise it)they play here... I am trying to think of a good way to describe the sound...its is definitely a fast BPM and high energy sound... Tell ya what..anyone who is interested enough to hear what it sounds like...go to www.ministryofsound.co.uk and listen to the Fergie mix that is one there...then you will see what I mean... -Jill ------------------
  6. Hey..tgoodnight... I am very impressed with your choices...I love Swayzak..its tech-house...I was lucky enough to catch them live on Liquid Todd's show last year..made a tape of it... If you like that...def get a CD by Aril Brikha...also nice mellow tech-house.. -Jill ------------------
  7. I also vote for Scott Bond!! Not only did he produce one of my fav. alltime records, "I'm not going home", but I have a few sets of his and they are wonderful.. 2 others I would love to hear live, Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Buuren... -Jill ------------------
  8. hey there.. I may have some things you would like..even some older Jr. (which I never listen to..) email me smoknjilly@aol.com -J ------------------
