Originally a collaboration between Sasha, Craig Richards and Lee Burridge, the Tyrant nights have been rocking Nottingham's The Bomb since their inception a couple of years back. When Sasha became the most international of superstar DJs and found that he had insufficient time to run the night, Craig and Lee decided to go it alone and the result has turned into one of the most innovative and popular nights in the country. Their first mix CD was released to much critical and popular adulation in 1999 and comprised an exciting and technically brilliant journey through tech house and techy breaks. Craig's since gone on to mix the superb Fabric 01 album, and fans will no doubt be glad to hear that they've only got another few weeks to wait until Tyrant 02 hits the shelves. The double-CD mix by Craig and Lee, will be released through Fabric Records on April 22.
