Meaning just look good. As in all clubs, no groups of guys, come with your girls. Admission is generally $25 and except for Thursday, there are no guestlizts. Every Friday DJ Riz and Stretch Armstrong are in the Prop Room (it's like a VIP) spinning a mix of hip-hop, rock and a little of everything. INMHO, the best room by far. But that's also cuz I get to pick on them.....

A club doesn't just open up and function solely on the advertisements of message boards. Clubplanet isn't the end-all of club promotions and marketing. There are people that have been sitting in the offices at 530 W 28th Street for months on end, 120 hour weeks making it happen, losing their hair and developing ulcers. Clubs of this magnetude don't just sprout up overnight, web marketing is only a small factor in the equation.

Considering that Crobar is the first club in New York to be built from the ground up in what, over 10 years now??? we can give the owners a little leaway on a half assed website. It isn't the website that is going to bring clubs back to New York....

The space entrance is actually on 28th, not 27th. It is definitely opening tho. You non-believers will be looking for guestlizts shortly. Aside from Bloomberg offering new types of cabaret licenses, he is looking to rid the industry of that wretched cabaret license to begin with. What is it something ridiculous like 12 new downtown spots opening this fall? Better for Crobar to hold off til Spring. Anyway, the Crobar guys are like nothing NYC club life has yet experienced. If it is the same team we deal with in Miami, we are in for a treat.....nothing shadey sheisty or underhanded with these guys so probably best not to even use Peter Gatien's name in the same sentence or even paragraph as them.
