  3. I think it was pretty much a no-brainer to go that route with that logo since GTA: Vice City since that is pretty much the hottest game on the market right now. And the whole Miami thing...y'know. I don't even own a Playstation 2 but I keep up.

But that idea was the brainchild of our resident editor Dan. I hooked it up in Photoshop and the rest is history.

And good idea roniness...that would make a fly t-shirt...

Look out for the mini-site coming soon! The Vice City theme is not done!

  6. If you're a lightweight, don't bother.

I went out to Metronome the other night and had 2 of 'em and was good the rest of the nite. A bit pricey, but worth it. 2 of my friends tried it and they wound up moaning "Nooooo me guuuustaaaa" in the morning. So I guess it is an acquired taste and tolerance. The reason why it's called an Incredible Hulk is because it turns green when you mix the 2 liqs together.

So next time you go out, remember this post and try it. I'm trying to get a consensus. I have people all the time see me ordering it and the bartender pouring and ask me "What is that man??"

Hypnotiq all on its own aint that bad either.

  13. I have been to a couple of these country-themed parties and like yourself, I didn't think it captured anything exotic or what have you of the locales they are named after. I never expected it to be in the first place because re-creating something like that would cost tons of money and take forever to produce. Hell, how many people that go to the parties have actually BEEN to Ibiza or Rio to begin with?

I think they are just catchy names to pull people. And it seems to be working cuz the clubs get packed. Seen it with my own eyes. Whatever works, right?

For those of you who experienced our phenomenal "3 Floors of Mayhem" Party at Float on Thanksgiving Eve - which was the best party thrown in the history of Premier List - there's no need to explain why our grand opening on Friday, January 10 will be the hottest new party in Manhattan.

For everyone else, picture this: over 1,000 people each week, great-looking crowd, fabulous music and big-name live performances. Let's not also forget to mention that the venue is gorgeous (as shown by the pics at the bottom of this mailer) and its huge! There are 3 floors with an entirely different vibe on each.

On the main floor, alternate-resident DJs Marc Anthony & Sheldon Romero spin house & vocals, with Deja opening. The 2nd floor has Kid Kaos plays cutting-edge hip-hop. On the 3rd floor, DJ Ski-Hi spins old school classics.

For our opening we have a big-time performance too: Jonah is in the house to perform the #7 Billboard dance hit of 2000, "Shhhhh Be Quiet." And our Rio dancers are the hottest you'll find anywhere, accompanied by the live percussion from David. Come early for some yummy FREE drinks from 10-11!

All partiers on the Clubplanet guestlist enjoy an admission of $15 before 1am, $20 from 1am-3am. Regular admission is $25. Doors will open promptly at 10pm.

  16. No professional or amateur models were hired for that pic. In fact I suck at modeling.

Santa Claus is just lil 'ol me. Derreck. The lead graphic designer here at Clubplanet. You may also remember me as 'Ghetto Superman' from the Halloween special. I'm not posting the pic. You gotta work to find it. The elf next to me is Mike, the other designer...the one that's been pumping out all the little New Year's Eve banners you see on the site.

Hopefully you can deal with our mugs being up there 'til the end of the year. :)
