nice to see you this morning bwahahahah yes, the crowd left a lot to be desired @ spirit . . . but i thought the music was great! randall was really good, and hernan definitely rocked it out - everyone that was there pretty much was dancing, and there was a pretty good vibe - i danced almost the entire time we were there (till around 245 to go to abaya) and had a good time. now, i dont miss working there one little bit, and i had a good time last nite . . . and like it was mentioned . . . if you wanna go to a place where there are all sorts of fake girls who want to have you buy them drinks all nite and then probably still wont leave with you, but you'll get your bump-n-grind - which hernans set was SO compatible with lol . . . then you might have gotten your address wrong, should have tried around the block, not spirit. i thought the crowd was amazingly respectful all nite as it usually is at a music-oriented event, otherwise i wouldn't have danced, because i DONT dance normally bc i dont want some guy tryin to get all touchy grabby whatever with me . . .

okay, we get the point that obviously you didn't get paid last nite . . . and like i said in my other post - there are gonna be changes made during the week . . . no one there had any idea of the way the nite would or wouldn't go. i am personally disappointed in the course of action taken . . . but whatever. as for saying the promoters will go to crobar - what does crobar need them for? especially on saturday nites? what an idle threat imo lol . . . crobar packs the place every saturday nite, every table sold, parties booked, beautiful crowd etc . . . they don't need to take on a bunch of promoters, and i think they're shown that thusfar with their numbers, and ability to fill that large of a venue saturday after saturday while maintaining a nice strict door policy and dont direct your hostilities @ spirit . . . thats not fair . . . direct them at the parties you know were involved in the problems you had

the system was rented, so yes it will be removed. the owner is going to buy additional sound equipment - it was the organizers of the event who felt there needed to be a bigger sound and therefore rented extra equipment . . . its not like the soundguy is yanking the equipment out bc of that . . . and it wasn't just noel who didn't wanna give the sound tech the $$ - and that sound totally added to the nite!!! he did an amazing job, and then was told by certain individuals that it 'really wasnt necessary' to have him there . . . yeah right . . . and yes, noel is a shady guy and proved it this morning, and there's no denying that, or that hard working promoters were in no way treated properly - and that is his fault, imo. people busted their asses to get shit done there and he ruined a good thing for a lot of people. however . . . i don't think the event will be ruined . . . i think that there are gonna be some SERIOUS changes within the next few days though . . . dont get me wrong, im not trying to sugarcoat the end of the nite - i didn't leave spirit until 8 am, which was DEFINITELY not the plan - but OTHER than the stuff that is work-related, it was a great nite overall . . . everyone enjoyed themselves, the club did well, good looking crowd, bottles a flowing - and boris wasn't nearly as bad as i thought the new sound and added lighting were simply amazing too . . . so other than the stuff that doesn't exactly concern the time the patrons had - such as who got paid and who didnt, and people who post it on the boards don't really need to . . . you think that when customers leave a venue they're thinking, boy i hope the staff made $$ tonite? - i think it was otherwise alright
