I've heard both spin countless nights and you cannot compare Junior Vasquez to Denny Tsettos for Junior is at a level which Denny's strives to reach. I personally don't think Denny sucks as a dj.. very talented man....but unfortunately the ratio of people who actually give a shit about music and are there just to get fucked up vs. people who are really inspired by his setlist.....at any denny party...l o w. As twisted of a following Junior has...at least it's a following....Denny?...just as there will always be another clubkid to replace you..there will always be another guido and bimbet couple to replace those that leave denny. I remember being in vinyl when the "be yourself" vibe was born.. the crowd was enveloped by the man in the booth, the voice of celeda on the mic that night in feb 99, the magic coming from the speakers, and the energy pouring out of their souls...when it was NOT AT ALL ABOUT....the "be yourself" boxer shorts...the "i love danny" t shirts.... the guidos and bimbets and friday night pre-partying 46th street /we all know which PROMOTER to blame for that one /MESSES that have infected the party... .i could go on and on........... but i think a very wise queen said it, no read it, no said it, fuck it..ya'll are gettin' READ.... READ IT best when she said... I'm going to see her again either monday or tuesday.. I had great seats for phili..on the floor maybe about 17 rows in from the stage..i'm still in shock over it..the guy that i'm seeing took me..... still...awe struck. the show was to die fowah.. discuss;) jsc:tongue:

I saw it last night in phili....here's my review...... I'm a huge fan so i won't spoil the show for anybody, i'll just offer my opinion. I had seen Blond Ambition 11 years ago and if you're expecting Madonna's Immaculate Collection live...you will be very disappointed.. Drowned World doesn't have much of the "pop" energy that fueled the Blond Ambition Tour........but it's the best show she's done..it really shows her to be an "artist" not only visually, but theatrically,..and the bitch rocks that guitar..........NO.NONE.NADA.ZERO prerecorded vocals. As much as i love madonna...I will be the first to admit that her voice live tends to have that winded growl to it...but last night? best i've ever heard.... and u can walk away from the show saying.."I HEARD madonna live and SAW her show." She showed herself to be an artist in every sense of the word. And she may not be grabbing her crotch to be bad....but she is.. it's a very dark show (i won't say why.. pay attention to imagery on the screens) the geisha section is amazing. I won't discuss anything that i didn't like until everyone has had a chance to see the show in new york.... Go into it w/ an open mind..and opened eyes. jsc
