    This saturday I'll be playing @ XS open-close. It'll be my fist time there this year and i am very excited to be there all night.

    -i'll be playing my favorite tracks...PAST PRESENT, and the near FUTURE!!! A collection of tracks that i personally love...and i know you will too!

    -I will also have a few camera's in the house shooting my DVD i am working on...so look your best!!!

  7. Who Sucks More - Jersey DJs or the Jersey Crowd?

    Coming from a DJ that has been through this shit for many many years, I couldn't have said it better myself. If the people actually took a chance on other DJ's in this state they might actually find that they like that DJ and would be willing to hear him again. It's a damn shame that I was able to play two different parties during the Conference in Miami and rocked both crowds and was overwelmed with support from people and promoters that had no idea who I was, but said that I was one of the best DJ's they had heard in along time.

    Yet I play in my own state and get no support from the promoters cause I just might be as good as I say I am.

    Another example is one of my best friends and producer Todd Gardner from Subliminal & Certified Records. He is one of the biggest DJ's in Italy and elsewere overseas but has a hard time getting gigs in his own state of Jersey.

    There are only a few clubs that actually promote House music here but none of them want to take a chance with other DJ's that don't have the "Jersey" following. And it's not like they won't pack the venue on that night to begin with.

    I am just rambleing on about the enevitable that any Jersey DJ knows already.

    So I am going to shut up now............

    I would much rather play in italy that my own state...

    The last 2 weeks @ Drama have been truely amazing. The Vibe in the room is amazing. Being able to play phat beats all night and seeing all of you appreciate it is showing that there is room for a venue that doen not need Hip Hop to pack a party.

    CORRECTION! It has just been brought to my attention that Burnlounge did NOT buy Beatport. Beatport was simply hired by Burnlounge to create their website and management system. This was a VERY big misunderstanding that was going around and I apologize for any confusion it may have caused. All independent dance labels are entering their catalogs on their own and not through Beatport. Burnlounge is still going to be the biggest forever growing media catalog in the world... currently adding thousands of songs per week. Don't forget they will also be adding ringtones, videos, movies, and small electronics very soon.... all without us store owners having to spend a penny on merchandise!
