I read the thread about favorite DJ's in jersey...
it's too bad no one or maybe i didn't read it carefully enough listed..
Warren Carter from Colloseum Thursday nights..
and DJ. DAvis G.
Davis G is very versatile, he can please Jerseay crowds that are college kids, to the more sophisticated apple martini drinking stuck up crowd.
Throw him in a party with Burn Outs and he'll play music that will please the crowd.
it's his versatility that has made him endure the unforgiving nature of the entertainment industry.
And of course Andrew Mendez, and Richie Santana..
but hands down the most unrecognized, unknown talent is Warren Carter of Colloseum, this guy can spin Vinyl record / 4 turntables at one time..
naH j/k i can't confirmt that..though i've been told.
he is the Victor Calderone of New Jersey..!!

Great job Mendez, maybe for the next classics, go back to the days when house was born and work your way through the years. Just a suggestion.
I even think Surf should do the classics every Sunday 7-11.

He is from NJ, He use to own Outer Limit Record Store in Passaic. Has thrown weeklies, Relief in Lyndhurst. Some parties he has thrown were Arcardia @ The Wave and another one at The Tunnel (forgot the name) Also was a resident at Limelight, Tunnel and Tequlia Joes. He toured with Rob Gee and has been spinning for over 10 years.
CHECK HIM OUT, he NEVER dissapoints.
He is the man! I used to buy all my records from him....does he still have any record store anywhere?

Teo T - My first time hearing him. Very good job. Lots of slammin underground
Andrew Mendez - Proved again why he's the most overrated DJ in NJ. Just very blah. He didnt really play "Like a prayer" by Mad'House did he!
Lughead - Amatuer mixing. Must give him credit for 1 thing though. Its REAL HARD to train wreck hiphop the way he did last night !
