  1. Wu-Tang Clan's RZA is leading the publication of a book on the history of The Wu-Tang Clan. Riverhead Books will release "The Wu-Tang Manual," which will contain autobiographies from each member as well as a lyrical encyclopedia. "This is basically everything Wu," Riverhead senior editor Sean McDonald told Billboard. "A large chunk will be the whole mythology of the group, explaining not so much how they came up with it, but what it means to them and how everything interconnects." The group will hit the road for a 60 city tour in the Spring of 2004, to coincide with the release of the paper back book. The concert has been labeled the group's farewell tour, a notion Raekwon seemed to indirectly confirm in a recent interview. "With the Clan I learned so much. The clan will always be the clan but at the same time we all got routes that we want to take in life and we kings right now," Rae told AllHipHop.com. "Every king needs his own castle. We can't all be in one castle and try to call shots. Everybody has to have his own destiny and make something positive happen for all of us." It's a chance to look back and explain what they've been doing all along. No one has actually been able to reveal the way it is all put together in their minds, particularly in RZA's," McDonald said.
  2. They had them clowns on some VH1 special. They were real salty on Busta's success. haha
  3. Ever week I'm gonna post a song that I think is bangin but forgotten. It's up to you to dig that shit up on the net or in your collection. Mobb Deep - Survial of the Fittest, Extended RMX Feat. Chrystal Johnson. That extra verse at the end, with Crystal pushin her vocals, still gives me chills. Anyone know about this track? Was on the B side to the 12' or Maxi single.
  4. Nah, just change your Efnet server to a different one. I change mine every few weeks, you get the same channels, but they each have different rules. For an up to date list, fo here. http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/networks/efnet.txt Some channels have banned bottler though, becuase you are taken for a leach, just downloading and never chatting and uploading. Whatever, fuck em, just let the geeks contninue to rip the music for us. =)
  5. I never asked for nothin I don't demand of myself Honesty, loyalty, friends and then wealth Death before dishonor and I tell you what else I tighten my belt 'fore I beg for help Foolish pride is what held me together through the years I wasn't felt which is why I ain't never played myself I just play the hand I'm dealt, I can't say I've never knelt before God and asked for better cards at times to no avail But I never sat back feelin sorry for myself If you don't give me heaven I'll raise hell 'Til it's heaven
  6. "You gotta pardon Jay, for sellin out the Garden in a day I'm like a young Marvin in his hey' I'm a hustler homey, you a customer crony Got some, dirt on my shoulder, could you brush it off for me?"
  7. Chillin man.....I really think I'm going to set that FTP server up that we were talking about. Would be nice place for everyone to share my 200+ gigs of media, as well as to drop anything new they have. I'm thinking after the holidays. BTW All those kids still grabbing shit from Kazaa or Soulseek, dead that. Take a few minutes to learn Bottler/Mirc, Bit Torrent, or use newsgroups. FUCK THE RIAA!!
  8. Your crazy to think there is only 2 hot tracks, maybe the beats are soft but the lyrics are there. The funny part is how much I argue that the album isn't up to par with all my peoples, yet I defend it on here. Even I can't say it's not hot, it just needs a few more harder tracks. I can't even bump the shit in the whip, after 10 minutes G-Unit goes right back in. Can't wait for the two new Nas albums.
  9. go to http://www.thesource.com/entersite.html and clip skip intro. The link is right there. If you ask me, even if it's Em (which I don't think it is), it is all that bad anyway. He doesn't say nigger or anything like that, just something along the lines that black chicks are triffling. This will only hurt the Source further and Em will escape without a scratch.
  10. Yeah It's called "Clap Those Things" off the DJ Whoo Kid G-unit Radio 4 cd Pretty hot, even P shines, must have woken up from his slumber.
  11. #ocs, #gangsta-vibez, #trudawgz, #outlawzmp3z, #rnbvibez
  12. www.ircspy.com Just click on the queue number next to the result, and it will add teh channel and conect to it in bottler, or Mirc, whichever is your default client.
  13. JoJo Pellegrino, Big Noyd, AZ, Cassidy, Nine, Smooth the Hustler, Ghostface, many more
  14. Lets see....empty, burnt down buildings, crack dealer, and bodega after bodega selling coke out of the back, or brand new cafe's, shopping, and housing. That's most stupid statement I heard on this board. If they build the water pier and "Yankee Village" like they are talking about, that whole place will become gorgeous, ala downtown Brooklyn. 5 years ago you couldn't walk down Fulton St. after dark, now you see 40 year old white dudes walking their dog at 3 AM. Such a horrible state of affairs.
  15. My shitty ISP wont let me send a whole cd, and im lazy to chop em into single emails. Let me try again through my work account.
  16. Not too impressed at all. I was expecting a lot more. Ugh
  17. In my opinion Big would be like ll cool j today Right.
  18. I personaly just think Ra, KRS, and G Rap should hang it up, and Wu as a group aint too far behind. From what I hear, Ra had 100 beats from Dre and Premo and couldn't pick 15 bangers out. His last album was east coast in production, and trash in sound.
  19. I agree with you 100%, Big def changed the whole east coast game. In the early 90's it was either the west coast funk or the east coast hoodie das efx/onyx grime. Me and my boys always wonder though, even though Big ushered in the whole cyrtal phase (Rae and Ghost pushed the mafia angle alot more I think), what would he have done next? If Big was alive, this whole bling phase wouldn't have lasted this long. It took a guy like 50, who everyone shits on, to end that phase. lol at Nas and Cam rockin pink suits. anyway you roll it, its homo. And I dont care if it's an offset of the bloods color, because if you rock colors in the east your homo anyway.
  20. That's really such a bad point. Biggie didn't contribute to nas being a fuckin homo in a pink suit, he was just so far out of anyone's range that he had people losing their mind trying to keep up with him. Even in his death, people STILL can't understand his whole flow & style. Theres always some happy go lucky raper that's gonna come up with the new style or flow, but big perfected everything he did to the point where he fucked up the minds of all the rapers scrambling to replace him when he died. Before you bring the old scholl shit in, you first have to ask yourself this question. Would big make a piece of garbage album like the last THREE krs-one albums, the last 2-3 g rap albums, the last Rakim album (such a joke its on par with pun's second as most disapointing ever), etc. Don't think I'm not giving props to the greats, but straight up big's the king. Rakim is a god, but in his last video he's on some dracular shit? He needs to do a r&b dre record to get half way decent buzz? Its a joke. g rap still spits fire, but his albums are trash. Big would never ever put garbage like that out. Album sales and buzz dont mean anything, to a point. You but big on trash beats, and kids on the corner are losing their minds.
  21. The 50 shit is simply hate. I can't front, he dumbed his lyrics down crazy on this album, but I don't blame him at all. For everyone who is hating, you tell me when this area had as much buzz as it did last fall? Biggie? Wu? Walk down canal street and EVERY mix tape had his mug on it, and he had at least half the tracks on the cd. He drops in the club, white chicks fall in love with it and him, and he's a sell out. Just throw on the album, let track 2 rattle your speakers, and you tell me who in the game today can make a hard core, east coast banger better then What up Gangster??
  22. 50 waited 8 years, but a lot of that was industry blackballing. Of course dude switched his flow up, and I would have too. He released classic, crazy hot lyrical masterpieces like 50 bars, life on the line, corner bodega, etc and didn't get a sniff. Now hes making 100g a night, and clown back-packing nerd rap kids on the net call him a sellout. IF I could sell 7 million+, and get 100k a show, show me the way to the sellout game. Vegas is straight nasty, but I thought he was the next nas like 3 years ago, and what that kid said was right. ever since that clue/fab diss, I haven't heard anything bangin.
  23. Ah, I never said who would win, all I said was you can easily notice he only battles chumps. I'm not discounting the man, all you have to do is throw on his verse from Patiently waiting from 50's album and you can see he might have the best word play in the game today. jada is no slouch though.
  24. Em onlt battles people he can beat, I'm still waiting for the Em vs. Bus battle.
