hammerstein was a cool place to throw the party, beltram was def the highlight. was very disappointed with derrick may, especially since he didn't spin very long and i missed him at DEMF and AREA 1. i wanted crazy hard techno. still had a great time, i thought the music at LL was weak but still had fun there too.
BRIAN, I WAS GOING TO GO BUT CHANGED MY MIND AT THE LAST SEC, CAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR A TECHNO DJ SPIN HOUSE JUST CAUSE HE'S IN NY ETC. DON'T FORGET HAWTIN ON 9/11
THE SEC IS A WEAK CONFERENCE THIS YEAR. IT IS NOT BY FAR THE WEAKEST JUST FOR A NO. 1 RANKING WITH THIS YEARS SCHEDULE IS ODD. IT ALL COMES DOWN TO NOV 17TH ANYWAY.
mills is the best dj out there only hawtin comes close. its too bad there isn't more hard techno played here. his set was sweet as are all of them, except the house he spun, that was not a highlight.
punisher and denham were by far the best dj's over the weekend. tha hail/rain sucked on sunday but ollie and slam were a good suprise. i can't think either after all that music. no house or trance all weekend just hard techno. the tronic party was the best party overall. cox pissed me off by not showing up, master's sucked as a replacement
This is the line-up for DEMF this year, and the list is diverse with plenty of Techno. To hell with WMC, this is much better/bigger. Can't wait. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE TECHNO, JEFF MILLS WILL NOT BE SPINNING AT LIMELIGHT THIS SPRING AND THAT REALLY SUX. PRETTY SURE HE IS NOT SPINNING AT ALL IN THE US TILL SUMMER TIME. THE NIGHT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO SPIN IS THE NIGHT FOR GOD DAM GATECRASHER. JUST HAVE TO WAIT TILL HAWTIN COMES IN MAY.
