  1. Cop: (watches dealer deal) Dealer: (sees cop) Cop walks over Dealer: Are you a cop? Cop: No Dealer: Wanna buy some pills? Cop: You're under arrest. wtf? They don't have to tell you. How silly would that be?
  2. There is NOTHING more dangerous than a group of people rolling in a club. I am VERY glad that Miss Clinton, et al are doing all they can in Washington DC to protect me from myself. We are only hapless citizens. Politicians know much better than we do what's good for us. That's why they have nice plush offices, cars and drivers, security people, big expense accounts, etc. I will sleep better tonight, and every night knowing that our prisons are FILLED TO THE MAXIMUM, overflowing with NON-VIOLENT drug offenders. Drugs are bad. TeeVee says so. Who am I to decide what I can put into my own body? If I want to ingest drugs, should I be allowed? I mean it is _MY BODY_, right? Maybe not, Miss Clinton is, as we all know, the most intelligent person to EVER walk the face of the Earth. So, when it comes to issues of who should dictate what is done with your body, I say we should leave up to the government. However, I was under the impression that Miss Clinton was pro-choice. I suppose "choice" does not apply when the "choice" is something Miss Clinton disagrees with. If I ever get pregnant, my body is mine, and I can abort the baby, but if I want to take a tiny pill on Saturday night, my body is the property of the US Government, and I can goto Prison?? Hmmm... maybe I'm thinking too much. What's on TeeVee??? Pro-choice indeed Miss Clinton.
  3. Is TWILO's website down or am I just the only one not able to access it?? www.twilo.com Thanks.
  4. Thanks Rachel!! That worked -- I was missing TWILO drammmmmmmmaaaaaa. Mike
  5. Yeah, thanks. I know it's Gay. We usually goto TWILO on Saturdays, and thought we'd try something different.
  6. Hey. Best friend and I will be in The City 19 November and we're thinking about checking out DRAMA SUNDAY. Any advice? Dress? How late into Monday morning are they open? Thanks.
  7. Harry Browne, Libertarian for President www.harrybrowne2000.org
  8. Wouldn't miss Miss Junya's b-day for anything. Got tix last w/e and I'm psyched. Will probably get there around 330-400. Mike
  9. You're insane glynis. Spare us that anti-drug govt. propaganda crap. Regardless of what drugs do to you, the bottom line is: WHO do you want to CONTROL YOUR BODY??? You believe it's perfectly okay for government whores in DC to dictate what I can and cannot put in MY body?? I think I should make that decision. Not Bill Clinton. Not ALgore. Not George W. Not the whores on Capitol Hill. NOT YOU! Mike
  10. The Pier Dance was TOO FREAKIN' CROWDED!!! I went last year and had a blast, but you absolutely could not move on the Pier Sunday!! However, we went to TWILO after and it was awesome! Mike
  11. LOVE that stuff!! Only saw it last year for Junior's b-day. It was AMAZING! Hopefully TWILO will have it for PRIDE this w/e. Anyone know?? I tried to call TWILO, but they are so evasive when you ask them anything.
  12. There is ONE person running for President who will protect our rights. Educate yourself and VOTE for Harry Browne. NEWS FROM HARRY BROWNE FOR PRESIDENT |*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*| FOR RELEASE: Saturday, May 27, 2000 ----------------------------------- For additional information contact: Jim Babka, Press Secretary JimBabka@HarryBrowne2000.org ----------------------------------- High on the Hill 'Congress wants to smoke the Fourth Amendment,' charges Harry Browne Arlington, Virginia -- "Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, and Utah Congressman Chris Cannon appear to be using the Bill of Rights as rolling paper, so they can light up and satisfy their addiction for power over our lives," declared Harry Browne. Browne, a Libertarian candidate for President, spoke out today against H.R. 2987, the Methamphetamine Anti-Proliferation Act, sponsored by the Utah Republicans -- a bill that would trash your right to privacy, due process and free speech. The bill empowers the police to conduct secret searches of your property, often referred to as "black bag" searches. It creates a new type of search warrant that allows police to enter your home or place of business, conduct a search, seize or copy files from your computer, and not tell you about it until months later. Another provision of the bill allows government agents to seize your property without giving you a list of the seized items. Currently, the law requires such an inventory -- including computer files -- to be given to the property owner immediately. "This an outright assault on the Fourth Amendment," said Browne. "But if you're out to demonstrate that you're a law-and-order politician like Hatch and Cannon, that pesky amendment is a real drag. But that’s exactly what the Constitution is supposed to be -- a drag on government power." Browne pointed out that the bill would also create new federal drug offenses. "There are only three federal crimes listed in the Constitution: treason, piracy and counterfeiting," he said. "So the 9th and 10th Amendments are being free-based. Apparently, law and order congressmen like Hatch and Cannon have smoked our Bill of Rights till they are high with power." "Even if this bill goes down to defeat, another will come along just like it. In fact, one already has," said Browne pointing to a bankruptcy reform bill, HR 833, that included similar provisions, passed both houses earlier this year and is currently being considered in a conference committee. "While opposing this bill is Constitutionally correct, that won't restore our lost and stolen rights," lamented Browne. "The only way to stop the politicians from further injections of unconstitutional authority is to end the insane war on drugs. That's the Constitutional thing to do." |*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*| TO CONTRIBUTE to the Harry Browne for President Committee online please visit http://www.HarryBrowne2000.org TO SUBSCRIBE to this list mailto:Majordomo-LibertyWire@mjx.HarryBrowne2000.org with the words subscribe LibertyWire on the first line of the body of the message. 13. I went last year and it was a blast. Went to Twilo Saturday night, the Pier Dance on Sunday -- where Whitney showed-up -- place went insane! Stayed for the fireworks, then headed over to Twilo. I called Twilo to ask, but they are not giving out any info yet. Regardless, I am definatley going, already got tix for the Pier dance. ------------------
  14. Thanks. I know Junior can keep the place open until well into Sunday afternoon. When is the party over Saturday, when SASHA and DIGWEED stop spinning? Twilo says 700 AM, but I am guessing (hoping) they stay open later than that! ------------------
  15. Hey. Definately going to SASHA and DIGWEED. My boyfriend and I are going up. We've only ever been to Juniorverse and LOVE TWILO. When is the best time to get there? How late are they open Sunday? Thanks! Mike ------------------
