Dear Mr. Darkie, Why so angry towards women? Did your mom not breast feed you? Does it bother you that all the girls like Temps? Twilo isn't exactly catered to us so it should be no surprise we don't love it the same as Temps. Junior hates us so why shouldn't we be more loyal to Denny? Your entitled to your opinion and they are well founded but so are ours. To each his or her own!

Okay now I know this is a rumor and I'm not trying to start one but I heard that Eddie Biaz just got out of rehab and might take the Metro South (not it's real name I know but lets just pretend) to stay out of the city. Is there any truth to that rumor?

Twilo may have the best music, the most well behaved crowd but one thing it will never have and never beat is the ENERGY of Temps. That of course is my opinion. I've been clubbing for almost 10 years so your 13 beats mine but nothing was ever like the feeling I got the first time I walked into Temps. I've been to all the clubs you mentioned, was a regular at some of them. I go to Twilo and SF all the time in the winter but nothing has my heart like Temps. I guess I'm cheesey, maybe I'm a juicehead. So be it.

Have I ever been to SF or Twilo? Didn't you read what I wrote? I said I see the same people there, you think I do that w/my exray vision? Twilo I'll give you, not as many but they do go and do know who the DJ is even when it's not Juinor. And they especially go to SF. I have to say I'm friends w/a lot of those Juiceheads and they happen to be some of the nicest most respectful bunch of people. In my experience it's usually the skinny little drunk kid who thinks he can take on the juicehead that starts the fight and as a result the juiceheads get blamed cause they are bigger. They also happen to know a lot about music. You judge all the people who ever get into fights as one person but they aren't. Have you not ever been in one? Never made a fool of yourself in any way? Perfect huh? Perhaps it's people like you who bring Temps down. Karma baby!

Happy Birthday! Since Metro is opening a club down there you might want to go to metro on Saturday cause they are giving VIP cards away and they might work down there also (not sure about that though). Temps of course is still the place to be as of right now, they give their VIPs away the first couple of weeks before Memorial Day so you may want to venture down there. It's worth the trip, $10 as opposed to $20 every week.

We do it cause everyone needs a "homebase". You get to know the bartenders and bouncers in that area and it's a safe spot for you. This way you know you can never get completely lost no matter how out of it you are, you always remember home.

Yep Metro is the place this Saturday, should be a good time. Maybe SF or Twilo afterwards...

I was at Temps every weekend last year and I can honestly say I only saw a handful of fights. No more then at any other club. I see all the same people who go to Temps at SF, Twilo and Exit so your saying they turn into different people when they walk through the doors of Temps and decide to fight? Their true personalities hibernate and don't come out till Memorial Day? Don't go to Temps if you don't like it but don't criticize it and exaggerate.

The first 350 people will receive VIP cards and you can turn in your old ones to get new ones. That's just what I heard, if it's wrong I apologize and please don't jump down my throat.

Metro South is just the name they have been using until they figure out one they want. It's the old Bermuda, it's under construction now. They don't have a DJ yet but are in the process of picking one. Someone said they are trying to get Eddie Baez (he'll be at Metro this Friday), but who knows. Just the mention of all those songs makes me so sad, I miss summer so much. Denny's mix of Movin' Up is the best. I Turn to You and Miracle were also really good. People can diss Denny all they want but I'm sorry there is nothing like him at Temps, at least for me. He's not for everybody and that's fine, the less idiots in Temps the more fun it is for me!

Eminem and Elton were great, they did Stan just the two of them alone w/a backdrop of rain. It was really FABulou! Madonna was terrific also. It sucked that Steeley Dan won cause they didn't even seem like they appreciated it. Has anyone even heard their CD? I don't even think they ever heard it.

Tape 74 is really, really good have to give Rich credit. But then again I'm biased, we went to high school together, I love him, he is such a sweetheart. Doubt he'll be in Seaside this summer, if he is it will be Sunday nights. South Beach Afterhours is a good CD, just bought it the other night, has a couple of cool vocals.

Did anyone see a picture of Billy w/hair? Oh my GOD! He and Mandy make a stunning couple. Beat it Vanessa!

Am I the only one who thinks Vanessa is busted? I mean as compared to Mandee anyway.

I'm pretty sure they don't have a name for the Seaside club yet, last time I heard they were referring to it as Metro South. Does anyone know if they will be doing Retro Metro again any time soon?
