Okay I have to ask, I've been biting my tongue all week, who the hell is Kirk Lopez? Is he the character who was, some might say DJing, I say butchering, at Surf Club on Sunday? If so, did you guys not have ears? I mean Derb & To Be Able To LOve? Excuse me, what business do those two songs have being mixed together? Other then possibly being played in the same night they should be far, far away from eachother. Other then playing Command & Obey, the boy was awful.

In my opinion, De Ja Vu is okay, Casbah sucks and if it were Saturday night after 3 am, Studio 6 is a lot of fun (interesting to say the least, a tad scarey too). Take note that there is not the highest quality of people at any of these places. AC does not breed them well.

Okay I went once just about a year ago so things might have changed. Dress was very clubby, believe that they have a dress code. People were all very drunk, perhaps cause they waited on an obscene line & had to make up for lost time. Not to mention a bunch of WT thrown in there for more then good measure. As for who the DJ was no idea but the music ABSOLUTELY SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!! Britney & N'Sync are okay at work, and believe me I've song Bye,Bye, Bye more then my fair share but if you think I want to hear that at a club your wrong. And to switch it up and throw hip-hop in just as I'm getting a good buzz, well that's just wrong. I was down w/OPP a long time ago. So to sum it up, I thought it sucked.

Yeah and not to mention the fact that by the time it's on the radio I've already gotten it and played it over & over, killing it myself. So to hear it constantly on the radio kills it even more!

I was only at Merge until around 12:30ish but for the hour & a half I was there A to Z was amazing. I heard he was great for the rest of the night too. Temps of course was amazing also but that's a given.

But I can't make fun of glowsticks at Vinyl, they aren't allowed!!! By the way is the time on this board annoying or is it just me?

Yeah I agree, NO STACKERS!!! I took them once and I thought my heart was going to jump out my mouth! A girl from a town near me just died over the weekend from mixing alcohol and as the paper put it "a popular over-the-counter fat burner and metabolism booster".
