What did ya do?
was in east berlin for all of new years weekend. def. a great time. would recommend to anyone who has the means to get out there.
to them techno is like our rap. every club has electronic on the main floor....and you can find something big every night of the week.
-
so im going to berlin for the third time over new years. difference this time is i wanna do some planning in advance instead of just winging it.
anyone know of a english speaking nightlife/restaurant review boards or websites dedicated or at least covering berlin?
we're staying in the mitte district.
all help is appreciated. thanks.

Hey everyone ... so if you don't know this already .. u can go to a Governmental web site .. and register up to three phone numbers to stop marketers from calling your phones (cel, work, home .. etc.)
When u register ... u get an email confirmation (you get one email for each phone number you registered) ... with a link that u need to click on to complete the registration process..
the request then gets processed in about 3 months and u should not be getting calls from marketers for up to five years .. and if they call u . u can report them to the government ..
the site link is https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
OR
you can call this number (you must call from the number you want marketers to stop using) .. (888) 382-1222 ...
now go .. block those mofos .. and enjoy some quite phone talks ...
peace
the MASK
ugggh...this is part of a hoax email. yes, you are right about the do not call list, but telemarketers are by law not allowed to call cell phones.

i would put the system in cielo up against a phazon ANY day....
yea a phazon is sick......but ..
1. u can barely talk over it...
2. if the dj doesnt know how to control the levels....it can really fuck your ears up
the system at cielo is LOUD, CRISP, CLEAR and u can talk over it and not loose your voice the next day...
def. agreed.
-
and tiesto is #1 dj in the world. means nothing. its all preference.
it really is a nice venue tho. i was actually telling someone yest. how much I like the system in there. best described as crisp, thumping, but not overbrearing at all.
-
agreed
I was hoping to buy something once I got a job (not in Manhattan of course) but the real estate market is nuts. I was looking to buy a studio in Kensington. 6 months ago, studios were $60-$80k. Now they are $110-150K.
oh well. i'm signing a lease in astoria today. a 2 BR apartment for $1325 with no brokers fee.
bigpop,
didnt u come to my house in SI like three years ago?
anyways, congrats on the apt. astoria is nice to live. i was there for a while. ditmars is greek central, so you better study up kid. and buy some black clothes if u wanna go to caprice, loft or any of those places.
-
ma-laka!
a three bedroom for $3300 a month?!! i'm sure other common
charges apply to a place like that.
i would just take out a mortgage and buy the place.
yasou!
i see you are well versed in the greek language. must have worked in a diner at some point. yes i am a malaka. efxaristo.
not sure bout you, but I dont have 80K disposable to put down for an apartment. im almost baller, but not quite there yet.
-
It's a private party. If you have connections I suggest you use them because that's the only way you're getting in. Jimmy Van M will open and Sasha will be there too. It's to celebrate the 10th anneversery re-release of Renaissance...
I just got back from this. music was bumpin...crowd was mixed, models n bottles, an industry heads. said whassup to digweed for a minute. not a bad party. got a free copy of the triple disc, so it was def worth it.

I live in queens and want to move into Manhattan but $1100 is pushing it
whats up all. I guess yeah to some that price is expensive but for the city, the building, the size of the apt, and the neighborhood, its "verry good". Not sure how much you've been apartment hunting, but the $7-900's of the city are crap and in shitty neighborhoods. I lived in an 8x8 for 6 months at
$700 and wanted to kill myself. now i live inna 13x11 and its heaven.
Anyways, the place is nice. We r two recreational dj's with a verrry nice setup. Showed apt to alot of people and everyone loves it, but are looking for the right roomate. If you or anyone is interested, let me know. Peace.
-
im looking for a roomate. showing the place this weekend..werd.
-
Yeah it's a monster!!!
Other 2 tracks are:
1-DJ Harri-Jivin'
2-DJ Vibe Pres. Andy Page & Babs-Oblivia Newton Bomb
agreed. vibe does not dissapoint. thanks for the help bro.
-
My bad at 2:01??

thanx bro. hey do u know all the tracks on the double vinyl?
-
can someone get me the name of the song in this clip..its the one at 2:01 -- the clip is labelled DJ Vibe - Undergroud Sound. I hear this song all over the place and its on his USofLisbon album

man i still didnt recover from shelter which is why im not at the718 sessions as i type this. Good times indeed at IKON jason jollins played good but i didnt stick around for pappa. ONce i saw him on i dragged argdiesel and ibrandon with me to SHELTER and had an awesome time. Reminds me why i love that club so much. MOst of the people here on this board where in the pink room where the techno was being played. Im just glad everyone had fun and i hope you feel better brandon, but dude ytou couldnt stop dancing when ou saw te shelter dancers ,AWESOME. And the perfect way to end my clubbing night/day was getting paint on my shirt froma wet door. At work i was a zombie with no sleep and even knocked my ehad few times on teh computer lol.
Next week DANNY and DANNY for me dont knowabout any of ya, and on the 19th NICKY SIANO has a new party starting up which im curious to hear in brooklyn. I cant wait to go back to SHELTER , lets make it soon. At least theres no one there who wants to battle you its all love and fun. Unlike IKON when some guy kept insisting with an attitude to get down with me, boo hoo, grow up.
was in the pinky room for dylan drazen. was curious why he didnt play harder. not his usual stuff, but still good.
-
um double j has taken care of me plus a guest thanks DJ. It was a last minute decision that i would check out the party for abit at least since ive been promising ya for the longest. WILLIE MAYS HAYS lol now your making me wanna watch that movie.
no one's mentioned Dylan Drazen, the undisbuted king of banging underground techno. That's why im going.
-
you HAVE to go to time supperclub on sat night. Rediculous girls going nuts to GOOD house music. Funny, you walk in and the place is calm and cool , people having dinner, but by midnight, the place is going nuts, girls dancing on tables.
yo thanks all. my friend told me about "tokyo bar" too. anyone been there? so yeah, looks like we probably doin stereo on fri night and aria or sonar on sat night both for after hours. we still looking for some pre 2-3am bar scene. i'll def. look into supper club.
-

NYbeauty you goin huh whoooooooooooooooooooose payin? SugarDaddy?

-
does anyone know of any listings guides for up there? similar to our TimeOut or L Magazine? maybe websites? or even some recommendations for spots? I'm looking for more bars/lounges with good music scene.
I've been to the Sonar, Stereo, Jet, Dome and a couple other spots, but wanna do something different.
whord thanx.
/p
