WELL I GUESS WE ARE DOWN FROM 300,000 TO 299,999 VISITORS PER MONTH....LOL I was pretty banged up at Metro too...And I never go out to make enemies...I hope I don't give anyone else that impression. NJDionysius you never seize to amaze me with your creations. Maybe I should have a card design contest. The clubs that sponser the cards will show their true status. I can already say that I have some of the biggest NJ clubs supporting this already. I really am not out trying to make a VIP "I am cool" card, maybe I will just call it an NJGUIDO card. But in all honesty, it is very easy to get a VIP card anywhere. So enough with all the exclusive BS. All you have to do at the shore clubs is show up when they tell you to and you get your VIP. I will create a criteria in which you will be able to get a VIP card. Another thing you must understand is that it is not good at one venue every time, therefore it is not the same as a Tempts or Surf Club card. The good thing about this card is it will be good at a different place every night. Imagine going out 5 nights straight and saving money every time. Another thing to note is that for a club like Deko, a group of guys will not be able to take advantage of this. they will still need girls to get in. The card is there to save you money and time, but you still must pay attention to the fact that clubs have their own rules. Like I said, I didnt start this thread and it is all still in the works. I agree with BigMurray, but our VIP card is more of a discount card. The "VIP Card" in the night club business has changed. BEING A VIP AND HAVING A VIP CARD ARE DIFFERENT IN THIS BUSINESS!! The actual card offers savings to people that attend often. If I was to call it a club discount card, that would sound cheap. But the truth is "the vip card" is a discount card. Club VIP cards have always been discount cards. Essentially a "VIP" comes from the gambling industry in which the high rollers were given benefits for their money spent. VIP in the club industry is the same. But VIP cards are made to offer club goers discounts and privelages for their continued attendance. Moo

Falling in love with Tempts hearing My Love is Your Love in Tempts was different than hearing it anywhere else. It is the first time I realized a true summer anthem. And I have been DJing since I was 12 years old (that would be 12 Years). Went through the freestyle stage than the club music stage, did parties as a kid and teen. Have been doing clubs or lounges for 5 years. And I don't mind the criticizm, but if you are going to criticize my DJing, do it after you hear me spin. I think that is fair to ask. Moo

Let me just say that my sources tell me that those places mentioned by thehype are very possible. I also want everyone to know that I do not post often. I was eventually going to bring this up on this board when the details were worked out. Now that the subject has been brought up, I feel that I must provide some feedback on this. The cards will be available in January and will work until the end of 2003. This is not something "cool" to have it us something that we are doing to give back to our viewers. Moo

Ahh, but you must understand. We will also be giving them out for free. The advantage these cards have over others is that they will be good everyday at a different club. If you went out to Metro for example on a friday and they choose to honor the cards, you would receive reduced admission. Saturday you may choose to go to soundgarden, and if they choose to honor the card you will save there. Think 7 days a week saving money for a whole year!! The next week you may go to other clubs or maybe clubs in the city where the cards will be honored. This saves you a lot of money, probably near a thousand dollars for a year if you go out every weekend. The only reason why some cards will be for sale is because NJGUIDO.com is not a money making website. We are just trying to make enough money to keep the site up. We also have to get something to produce the cards. 20 is not the number in stone but is an example. Just imagine going on njguido.com and looking up where your card is honored that night realizing that you can get some type of break at a different club every day. This will not be played out, for example we will not honor 2 jersey nightclubs in one night but rather a club in nj and ny on occasion. This is also great for the actual clubs because if they honor the cards, it is likely that they will get the people with cards on the night they honor them. We all know how competitive the business is. Think of how many nights your decision was so tuff you decided on a place over money!! I would like to hear more feedback as it is still in the works. They will serve a good value. Club admission discounts, sometimes comps, sometimes line privelages. Most clubs want to take part. These cards must be purchased. So when you are at the end of the line and all the "dorks" who spent $20 on a card are inside, we'll see who the real "dorks" are. Not that I have to wait in line anyway. Moo

If it is nescessary to have the pic removed, I will exercise the proper authority. I understand what you said in your PM about not thinking its right to post their pic, they didn't mind until now. COMPLETE INSANITY - TEMPTS IN NOVEMBER I just want to thank everyone for making my 3 hours (8-11) behind the DJ booth amazing. Especially all my boys and ladies on the NJGUIDO Greyhound bus. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else especially as far as DJing goes. The crowd was energized and happy all night long. People were dancing all over the place by 9:30. Rarely does an opening DJ get a chance to spin for a completely packed house. So thanks to Deko and the number 1 promoter in the area SERGIO. I couldn't ask for a better place to spin. I hope that everyone had a great time and enjoyed the music. Oh and of course thanks to Denny for shouting us out. Joe and Rod, you guys were great to work with. I had a blast DJing at Riverstreet this friday, I went there expecting to have fun but came out realizing that the 3 of us played for one of the best crowds I have seen at any club in a long time. Everyone I know had a great time on Friday. Thanks to Jeff and Elite for having me. I felt the need to bring it back at the end especially closing out with Angel because I felt the energy of the summer in Riverstreet. Hopefully down the road we can do triple threat friday again.
