I'm not sure I agree, different types of music may not be compareable as so many people have very politely mentioned, praise those who can make a good point without degenerating to threats and other useless bullshit, but a DJ also involves talent, experience, wisdom, all of which, in my very humble opinion, Danny leaves Denny in the dust, as B2B said, sure, I give Denny props, he's a pro, good for him. But compare him to DT, Digweed and Deep Dish's fav. dj in the world? Please.... PS, I'm coming back to NYC in two weeks!!!! See y'all at Vinyl...

'sup peoples, could i get some help with a quick song id? dt used to drop it a lot at the late end of summer...i'm trying to figure out if it's his own remix or might be able to get it, either off the net, or in a store...it's the song that samples larges parts of karen ramirez's "looking for love" is it a remix? is it another song with samples? name, artist, etc. would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.... peace

Do you know of any way of getting some of the songs that DT drops at Vinyl? There are so many songs that I've heard and want a copy of some kind but have been unable to locate them, or worse yet, I don't even know what they're called..like that damn song id i keep asking for...and "since i've found you" is that the name of it? Ok ok...I posted this on the ny board but no help yet...dt's dropped this song on a number of nights in the past month or two..i've also heard a number of other house/techhouse dj's drop the song..i'll do my best to explain it... the most identifiable part of the song is in the middle of the song...where there's a lull and everything goes silent...then there's this tech/synth sound that goes off...then this other sounds answers it...then it's back to first sound...then the second...it sounds like they're almost talking to each other....the sounds get closer and closer together, and it breaks into a quick rise (3-4 seconds) into full glory....it has the same build like 4 times throughout the song....gets good crwod reaction...pretty hard hitting...

it varies...sometimes you get some hella good shit...other times you get this euro-pop dance music crap....you have to know where to go...just like it is most every else...

Ok ok...this is going to be pretty tough to put into writing..but the most indentifiable part of the song is when eveything goes quiet...and there are like two tech-synth sounds, they sound like they're almost talking to each other, one goes off, then the other, the the first one, and the second again...then it has this really short build (about 3-4 seconds) before the beat kicks in again....nice song..gets good response...DT drops it almost every friday, and i've heard some other house dj's drop it too....

This is me jumping in and saying hi from the far east, I moved out of the NYC area for a couple months ut I'll be back in Jan sometime, damnit, and I just saw the lineup for upcoming Twilo nights, why couldn't they have those kind of headliners over the summer? Shit...anyhow...been a pleasure meeting all he people that I met over the summer....big shoutout to friday Vinyl crew, I'll try to be more social when I get back and actually say hello when I recognize all of you, and to the Twilo crew, Shadowchaser, blueangel, and all the others...I'll check the board every now and then but probably won't have much to add, it's been a pleasure ladies and gents, see you in January!
