    Funny that everyone mentions Mike Mac. Him playing at the Surf is as definite that Denny will be at Temps. I have mentioned it to him and he is interested. I have been impressed with Mike for years and the set he did at the Clevelander was phenomenal. About Johnny I am glad people mentioned him because he was someone I already spoke about and I will get done. Boris is a friend of mine and he is really starting to make his mark again with the Jersey people, he is already doing our grand opening, May 5th.

    As most of u know I started something new last summer with a different guest DJ every Sunday night at the Surf Club. I have a lot of DJs in mind but I would like all ur opinions.

    PS> be realistic but remember how certain djs u would never expect are starting to play all over the place.

    Wow a conversation not about clubs that hits close to home. I have been to every place mentioned except for Keane's and Angelo Maxie and I have to agree with the consensus of Lugers. In NJ though people should try River Palm Terrace. It blows Arthurs out of the water and it lays a smacketh down on Ruth Chris. Manhattan has some great steak joints. Smith and Wolinsky, Ben Benson's, Spark's and the Palm but I have another place for everyone to try which is my favorite in Manhattan. It's called Frank's Steakhouse. Zagat gives it a real high rating but still havent found many people that went there and tried it. Its located right in the meat packing industry next to Lotus and around the corner from The Roxy. Check that place out

    Not really I could be best friends with the worlds worst DJ but even though I can play him in great rooms the bottom line is if he sucks he sucks and after a while u need to giving him those spots because he embarrases u. Aaron is not one of those DJs.

    You are totally offline with this comment. Aaron with the right guidance and the right break will make it one day. Take it from someone that has managed nightclubs for over 7 years and worked in them over 10. He is not a WKTU style DJ like most NJ djs are. He has his own style and that style just happens to be in world wide.

    Stay tuned this summer when Aaron and I join forces to bring you the trendiest party in NJ.

    Definitely a different Pete the Greek. Many people dont know that this is Pete the Greek the 2nd. It is tough to give a person a name that is already legendary in the night club scene.

    The Original Pete the Greek bartends at the Surf. Works Friday at DEKO and manages Fantasy go-go bar.

    If everyone hasnt noticed yet when a club closes at a certain time it means that all people not on the ABC list need to be out of the building. So we decide on what time to turn the lights on based on the size of the crowd. Friday was insanity so we turned the lights on early. In North Jersey we need to do that so everyone is out by 3 in Central its the same law but they have the 2 o'clock thing. Even at Temps, everyone always asks why Denny stops playing at 3:30 thats the reason.
