As everyone knows I am the promotional manager of Joeys Night Club. Sometimes it is hard to thank everyone for all the hard work they have done to make a night so successful. Well for those that were there last Friday, Joey's was off the hook. I want to take this time to thank certain people for their help. If I forget someone don't hate me.
First, I want to thank Adam, Bill and the rest of their staff for getting the word out to everyone about Adam's birthday and everything else that went on. PS> Happy birthday again.
Next, the single most important thing in a night club. The MUSIC. I feel I have the best resident DJ in the state (this is my opinion, its not a comment for controversy). Though Kirk might not have the name that alot of other DJs do he seems to never have that off night. That is a symbol of excellence. This past Friday though he really seemed to be on the top of the game.
Next, want to thank my door people and co-managers/bosses, for putting up with the constant headache u get from me and the other people about comps at the door. I understand u guys are doing a job and u do a damn good job of it.
Next, the bartenders. What more can I say. I read alot about clubs that have bartenders that have no clue. Well that is the last comment that can be used by my staff. I can honestly say I have the best collection of bartenders around.
Last, got to thank Joey and Dean with letting me run with this project and not giving me too much gripe about it.

On December 21st the Christmas party that rocked the Abyss the last two years goes North for the Holidays as Sergio presents Christmas in Clubland III (A Retro Wonderland) @ Joeys. When we talk Retro (remember Temps for Denny's Bday) who better to DJ it then the guy that put Christmas in Clubland I on the map, Denny Tsettos.
So, start listing the songs you want to hear. Keep the music between '97 and '00 and I will make sure Denny gets the list.

I definitely agree with Brian on this one. Not one person can individually make any club. The good thing about Joeys right now is that each of us have a job to do and we do it and do it well. I want to thank Tempsdoorguy for the nice comments. I do try to bring the most cutting entertainment to Joeys something that most people aren't used to. But if it wasn't for Adam and Bill and the crew no one would know about it. This is the first time we really got to work together, guys don't think I forgot the first time (one week and out), and I am glad that we are doing this together. Keep up the good work and we will all be happy in the end.

For those who missed last Friday, MISTAKE!!! Joeys Fridays are getting bigger and bigger. For those who keep talking shit about the night keep on doing it because by the time you know it you might be the only one not there on Fridays.
This Friday, join Bill D., Kareem and Fred G. as they throw a special birthday celebration for their boy, Adam Gugino. Special appearance for the first time in America by DJ Encore performing KTU's chartbuster, "I See Right Through To U". Also, RSL will be live in the house. Resident DJ Kirk Lopez.
Next Friday, Andrea Martin performing the song of the winter (as per Denny), "The More I Love You" and her #1 hit from 2000, "Share the Love".
Then on December 21st, the Christmas party that packed the Abyss the last two years goes further north for the Holidays, as Sergio presents Christmas in Clubland III. Special guest DJ, Denny Tsettos playing the two greatest hours of '97 to '99 music ever heard.

On Saturday December 8th the icon of DJs returns to WORLD when Danny Tenaglia takes over the turntables and plays from 11PM to 11AM. If you weren't there the last time he played you missed some night. Don't miss it again!!!!

This Friday night WKTU is proud to present RSL Live @ Joeys in Clifton. KTU will be broadcasting live from Joeys from 11 to 1. Guest DJ Louie DeVito joins resident DJ Kirk Lopez as they celebrate the most anticipated CD release ever in the nightclub industry, NYC Underground Volume #4.
Next Friday making their debut in America, DJ Encore, performing their chart busting hit, "I See Right Through To You"
Two weeks from now Andrea Martin performing the track of the winter (as predicted by Denny Tsettos)
Three weeks, mark ur calendar for the #1 Christmas Party in all of NJ for three years running. As Sergio and Denny Tsettos present Christmas in Clubland III.

This Friday, NJ's most trendiest party continues its ways with "BEAUTIFUL", Playboy's Exclusive Party for the Pretty People. This one time event will be hosted by this months centerfold, Lindsey Vuolo (Miss November 2001). Music by resident DJ Kirk Lopez.

Last year we had reserved one of the side VIP area's at Abyss, this year I was hoping to go some place a little less clubbish and a little more loungish. Some one mentioned Diva lounge, and Lounge 2028. I am not a big fan of the Diva lounge but I don't know much about lounge 2028, Anybody have any info on this place....

I really need to disagree with you on this one. I have been working in this business for a long time. I manage Joeys now, the past 5 years at the Abyss, and I run the Surf Club over the summer and I have dealt with many DJs and Denny is definitely the best. Yes he does have his bad days once in a blue moon like every performer does but his great days definitely outshine his bad days. Come to Joeys and listen to him play for a crowd. When he is there u mine as well think ur at temps the way the crowd acts. He comes there and makes it his home. In the city, there is maybe only one or two DJs that can outdraw him on a Saturday night. Remember he wouldnt have such a loyal fan base if he sucked. About temps, ur fucking nuts. Let any NYC promoter or goer tell u that temps is not the perfect night club feeling. You know what they won't. So do me a favor, think before u post.

Joeys would like to thank all its customers for its support this fall, so anybody who comes in Thursday, Friday and Saturday gets a free admission pass for Jessica Folker for this Sunday. This pass entitles u to free admission on Sunday to see Jessica perform the song of the summer, "To Be Able to Love".

As most people know Denny had a falling out with some of the promoters of WORLD, and I know I am sorry that he is gone because not only is he a great DJ he is a great friend. BUT, the show must go on. This Saturday, NJ's #1 Promotional Group, made up of every Friday night party worth talking about in Jersey except Metro, which includes myself (Joeys), Tommy & Jake (Fridays @ Images) and Joey Enuff & Royalty Promotions (Abyss) would like to invite u to OUR WORLD, this Saturday for Halloween Havoc. Music by DJ Boris plus a special performance by Aubrey, "Stand Still" ,making her debut at WORLD also.

Like I said I will not make this a debate. How many DJs do u know that can play for a diverse crowd where there are just turned 21 year olds and people that are in their late 20s not many. He plays for the crowd not for himself. That is what makes him so good. He is not going to play the newest tracks all night becuase he has to play for everyone. If music like sandstorm sucks so bad why do people go crazy when a club does a retro night. Enough said.
