i got in the scene for the right reasons. i live my life with it connected into for the right reasons. i produce the electronica that i produce for the rights reasons. don't get me or anybody on here wrong as to why we're in the """scene"""", i just ran into something that has become a problem, and it was my fault, and i'm dealing with the results, but i'm going to change it, because once i saw it really fucking with my life, and really altering my perceptions on things, i realized that it has become a problem, and what are problems for? fixing! and that's what i'm trying, posting this thread helped alot to give me concepts to abide by with, but just because people may use substances often @ the parties, it doesn't just automaticly mean that they are in """""""""""raves""""""""" and """"""""clubs"""""""" for that reason. some people just run into sittuations...that's all.

hey man totaly i hear what your saying, i too got involved initially with drugs for a wrong reason, well...there isn't a right reason, but i started to get rid of my troubles of some things and people too, , but good to hear your revamping everthing too, best of luck as well.

i think that's one of the things i've been worried about, being jealous of the others who are on things, but then like the most of you suggested to surround myself with good caring friends or just good ol' peeps is a good idea, def. :tongue:

hey everyone...thanks alot for your responses, i definitly feel alot of good vibes about it...and it certainly helps me feel more confident in just not taking drugs, i've been clean for about 2 weeks and already i feel such a difference, i feel like this fog has just lifted ya know?....well i'll take everything you guys said with alot of thought as i go to "joy" this thursday, hopefully i'll stay sober, and i think i will to, and i'm not alone. once again thanks everyone, nyc'ers you're great. i really should live by the plur, i have...lost track of it, but now i think i am refinding it. peace out!!!!

i am really trying hard to party without any outside influences....really trying to stray from it, by now cuz it's getting to be a bit rough....so i'm asking, as stupid as it may sound(i mean i met tons of other sober ravers too) but , do any of you guys party sober?...and like...what's your take on it...? any feedback helps alot. thanks.

yeah we had tea time, then i had a call on my cell, what do ya know, it was digweed, wanted me to help fix his exhaust. then while on the way over i bumped into this girl i played poker with once, i can't recall her name totaly....something like....lisa nash, narsh, lash,lashes something like that, so that was pretty cool, but yeah at johns house, after we fixed his vespas exhaust, we went down to a local pub and i ran into my old roomate...he always called him this robotic name....x dream....if i called him anything else, he'd throw these old records at me, even his parents when they would call would call him dream, so i mean whatever ya know. so after that i went to go to sleep it was pretty late, then i got an emergency call from tech support room at this small web firm shindig, a server crashed, and they needed help with switching dns numbers and shite, so i headed over there and it turned out the late night tech shift done by this person i lost a bet to (5 pounds) named sandra. i dont remember her last name, but oh well, can't remember all your friends names eh?
