Why is it that whenever any club in New Jersey either opens or has any kind of success YOU have to put it down or bash it? Is it because You're a metro-groupie? THAT'S obvious. Competition is a part of life....Metro is NOT going to be the ONLY club in New Jersey or North Jersey for that matter. Get over it and stop putting people down. I guess where you live reflects the amount of class you have.

Yeah that sounds about right, but you still may want to check with place I suggested, it might be a couple hundred less with them...I have used them for the past 7 years and no one has been able to beat their prices. Their website quotes $1599. for 7 nights at the Allegro.

Yes I did go to Vinyl...it was incredible... I didn't want to leave. If you haven't booked anything yet, call Amy at MCM Tours (800-642-7822) ...they specialize in travel to Aruba and you can't beat their prices. Their website is www.aruba4u.com. I am so jealous!!! It's beautiful there, you will have a great time.

AND in my personal opinion I don't think Temptations would attract the same crowd (in numbers) this summer if Denny wasn't the DJ. I think your statement saying that people go there because there is nowhere else to go is completely ignorant and ridiculous...Explain to me why the whole club chants his name at the end of the night...because there's nowhere else to go right? Actually, I don't THINK...I KNOW that people go there just for Denny and I don't understand why people like YOU can't get that through your thick heads!! I don't even know why I am wasting ANY time arguing this with you because every single one of your posts is about Metro and/or "MetroSouth" or the DJ's at Metro and/or "MetroSouth" and John T's shows (however the fuck his last name is spelled). You're obviously swinging from someones genitalia who works at Metro. That's great, but it is no reason to disrespect other clubs or DJ's who happen to NOT spin at Metro. It really makes Metro look bad by you feeling the need to bash other clubs and DJ's to make metro look better. I highly doubt you will find many people at all who will agree with you and say that they don't go to Tempts to hear Denny! Denny is the reason Tempts is packed like a sardine can EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND OF THE SUMMER!!
At least not anyone who goes to tempts would say that, maybe you will find other people like yourself who are loyal to Metro and NOTHING else!!

yeah, I think it's $20 or $15/reduced. You can wear anything you want, but it's way more on the casual/comfort side (tshirts, sneaks, comfy pants). You could roll out of bed and show up, just bring a good attitude.
crowd is a little bit of everybody, but we all play well together.
I think it goes 'til 10am.
Vinyl...You either get it or you don't and obviously this person doesn't! Incredible people, incredible vibe and Danny leaves me speechless every week. He is just superb at what he does and the way he works that place. The space is perfect for the crowd Danny draws. Absolutely my favorite thing to do on a Friday night.
