    The Bouncer goes: "UM... because you were foaming from the mouth!"

    I feel bad for any guy that has woken up to THAT MESS!!! :puke:

    Just thought it was a little funny that THIS makes a News Headline!!!!

    LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Veteran singer-songwriter Barry Manilow (news), recently waking up disoriented in the middle of the night, walked into a wall and broke his nose, knocking himself unconscious, the entertainer disclosed on Tuesday.

    The accident occurred at his home in the desert resort of Palm Springs, California, just after Manilow had returned from a two-week stay in the seaside town of Malibu, where he was producing an upcoming album for his old boss, Bette Midler (news).

    Roused from a sound sleep thinking he was still in Malibu, Manilow got up and "veered to the left instead of the right and slammed right into the wall," he said in a statement released by his management company, Stiletto Entertainment.

    He passed out for four hours, and though he was not seriously hurt, the 56-year-old performer said the mishap left his nose quiet swollen. His sense of humor remained intact, however.

    "I may have to have my nose fixed, and with this nose, it's going to require major surgery," he said, referring to his famously prominent profile.

    The statement did not make clear exactly when the accident occurred.

    Manilow said he intends to finish work on the Midler album -- a tribute to the late Rosemary Clooney (news) -- as well as on his own two-disc live collection, "Two Nights Live."

    He also is going ahead with plans to begin rehearsals for an original stage musical with Bruce Sussman, "Harmony," scheduled to open in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, this fall, with a possible Broadway debut early next year.

    Starting out as a pianist, arranger and musical director for Midler in the early 1970s, Manilow became a solo sensation with a string of hits later that decade, including "Mandy," "I Write the Songs," "This One's For You," "Can't Smile Without You" and "Copacabana."

    Listen, all I am saying is ...why go to Tempts when you never have anything good to say about it? Off night once or twice??? I wouldn't hate you so much if you went once or twice and said it was an "off night" but EVERYONE knows you come on this board to start DRAMA, you admitted that yourself..don't you remember? Everytime you post about Denny it's negative and YOU KNOW it's continuous, probably hundreds of negative posts about him so you're only fooling yourself.

    By the way DARLING, Denny does fine on his own, I don't need to post on a messageboard to ignorant rats like yourself for his benefit.. I JUST DON'T LIKE YOU or any other haters who feel the need to start drama!

    First of all... Christianjay... the point being made about the broadcasting on KTU was specific to Denny being the only DJ IN NEW JERSEY to broadcast live.

    Second... I can't even begin to THINK about how many times the point has been made that comparing Rich Rydell and Denny Tsettos is ABSURD! They DO NOT play the same in ANY way whatsoever! Anyone who acutally KNOWS anything about music would never make any sort of comparison so that explains the ignorant "Richie blew denny out of the water" replies to this stupid post!

    Third... Laurie619, I think I have asked you this question many times and I still have never gotten an answer.... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.. WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU STAY AT MERGE! ALL you do is bash denny (cause you know so much about music) and yet I see you EVERYWHERE THE MAN SPINS!! WHY IS THAT?? For someone who can't stand the way someone plays ...you sure do follow him a little much ..don't ya think?

    And lastly... Judging by the energy and vibe in Tempts on Sunday, the "critics" on this board probably make up about 3% of the crowd in Tempts. Everyone seemed to be having a great time to me!

    You're signature is cute, but... no matter how much confidence you have, accesories can make or break your look too!

    Hey... to each his own, just my opinion about sunglasees in the club...especially when the sun hasn't made any appearance throughout the entire day.

    Is it me or was anyone think Denny was run of the mill??? I was looking for a little more...maybe he was saving it...

    I thought Denny's track selection was great! Lot's of new stuff mixed in with a lot of last summer's favorites. Perfect little appetizer for what's to come MDW!! Can't wait!

    HAPPY to see all the familiar faces... you know who you are, too many to mention right now. The new VIP looks great!

    SAD to see: Sunglasses on a RAINY day in APRIL no less, oh and shirtless guys...ALREADY??? C'mon! WAY too much WHITE before memorial day. Crowd was ............entertaining! :D
